Hotel Golden Peacock - 5min From Har Ki Pauri

First of all, I’ve understood one thing . They suggest third-class properties. The TV and geyser were not working. When I complained, the front desk said they would send someone to check, but no one came. The quilt was extremely dirty and unhygienic; even the blankets in an ashram are cleaner.

I had a very bad experience during my stay. There was a blockage in the washroom, and the water flow from the tap was very slow. Additionally, there was no proper arrangement for the complimentary breakfast — it took almost an hour to be served. I’ve never had such a disappointing experience before.

Had a comfortable stay. Location is good. Sanjana at reception was very helpful.

Horable experience with MMT. The hotel was good. but mmt services are horrible. I have booked the bigger room and paid for that but I had to accommodate in a small tiny room.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Good and wholesome vegetarian food. Excellent service. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Would stay here again if i visited haridwar rishikesh in the future.

We stayed there for a night after coming back from a long travel from Joshimath, we chose this hotel as it was close to the railway station and we had early morning train to catch. They first allotted us a small room not the executive room, had no toiletries, no dustbin in bathroom and no table in the room, all the upholstery was torn and the cotton was coming out of the pillow after talking to the manager, we were tired hungry and had ordered the food and all this hassle just ruined all experience in in the meanwhile our food also got cold which we asked to reheat but they were reluctant to do that as well, the executive room is also not worth the price and they had no hot water to be provided for bath.

Neat hotel, good food, ample parking, friendly staff value for money required amenities available.

Comparatively new property which is nicely maintained. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are hygienic. At a very apt distance from hear ki pauri giving you some peace from the non stop honking. Food quality can be improved.
