Very poor room condition, water geyser not functioning ( had to use tap water at 2 degree temp. Had to change hotel after checking in. Worst experience in life

Excellent hotel and great hospitality
coupleHospitality is the first thing that touched my heart. They extended every possible support to make our stay a memorable one. Food was amazing. Location is very good with view of mountains. Rooms were clean and very well maintained. Design and decoration of everything present here is amazing. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent services
Hotel delight royal lachen, stay was excellent, staff was courteous and helpful. We had stayed for one day and room services was excellent. Mr manna, mr bap-pa and mr deep was very helpful and made our stay memorable. Well maintained good rooms with hygienic washrooms were a plus point.

Average Stay
Rooms are average, location is not easily approachable, they don't allow to park vehicle near their hotel which is a big negative point, staff is cordial and accommodative, heaters are banned in lachen so very difficult for tourists from tropical/coastal areas. Lachen itself is very difficult to access so i feel all the hotels are not much different and they do not give value for money. Food variety was less but taste was good. All tourist to carry a complete medical kit as these places do not have any medical store at all!

Room quality, hygiene and safety
Room quality was excellent. It was very neat and clean. All necessary requirements of the rooms were available inside. Food quality and the ambiance of the restaurant was excellent.

Hotel room was very old, hotel is not worth for the price it is asking. I had booked "super deluxe room with sofa, but sofa was not there, when asked about it hotel staff told that there is no sofa in any room. Overall it was average experience. No, that's it.

Terrible Stay
familyWhile booking, there were no mention of the "no cancellation policy" properly displayed. After booking, i got the notification that the full amount to be paid. Though i was not happy, didn't raise that point with makemytrip as i didn't have any intention to cancel. However due to some personal issue, i had to cancel the trip and requested for the refund well in advance. However none of the money was refunded. Other properties did refunded the whole amount. With this experience, i don't going to book this property or recommend anyone to deal with this property.

familyThe say was good. Lachen has major network issues. We were cut off network for whole day which makes it difficult. Hotel staff is very fast and courteous
