One word to describe my stay - they have installed ceiling fans with eight blades, his and her bathroom sinks, and plonked a bathtub in the bedroom next to a large window so that one can enjoy an "al-fresco" bathing experience. But the neighbours get a free show as there is no tree cover, so beware! the doors are flimsy, and the rooms need to be soundproof. We could hear the couple in the next room having fun, and a dog (in the hotel) kept barking now and then. But these are the funny bits. Only order food here if you are vegetarian and easily satisfied with a minimal menu. Their non-veg menu comes from the adjoining clark's amer and the f&b department there has it's head firmly stuck in a place where the sun doesn't shine. I had placed my order by 9. 45 pm. It took them 2 hrs to get my order, and they forgot the booze. They refused to cancel the order, and every time i called them to enquire, they said it was on the way and would reach me in "two minutes. After every 10 minutes, i heard the same thing until the order finally arrived at 11. 45 pm. Thankfully, i had the sense to order something through a food delivery app just before 11. 00 pm, which came well before the meal from the hotel's kitchen! and then, they had the gall to send a poor housekeeping staff with the food and a bill. They insisted on me paying first since their night audit was about to start! i apologise to that poor fellow as i finally snapped and had to shoo him off. I never got the r&r i was looking for after a long day's drive, The food is expensive. I tasted a little bit as we had already had our fill from the zomato stuff. Though well prepared and tasty, it's still not worth the money. I have also had a bad experience with their elder brother cl-ark some years back, and i did not know that brij-nest was a sister concern.
