I recently booked a homestay through MakeMyTrip, which mentioned that kitchen access was allowed. However, upon arrival, the host initially refused to let us cook despite us bringing our own ingredients. After a discussion, he agreed but imposed strict conditions, which we accepted. Unfortunately, throughout our stay, the host frequently intruded every 10 minutes while we were using the kitchen, constantly monitoring and instructing us on cleaning, making us feel uncomfortable. Later, when we were simply having a conversation with our family at night, he asked us to stop talking and sleep, even though we were not making excessive noise. Additionally, we were given two rooms, but we later discovered that the third bedroom in the homestay was already occupied by another guest. This was never mentioned in the listing, and we were under the impression that we had booked a private stay. Sharing the property with an unknown person was a serious concern for our privacy and security. This experience was highly uncomfortable and not as described in the listing. I request MakeMyTrip to take appropriate action against the host and provide a resolution for the inconvenience caused.

The host is really sweet and a good person. I enjoyed staying here. The rooms are large and clean.

It was a very good homestay with minimum cost. Hot water was available 24 hrs. Owner was good. Had a very comfortable stay. You can access dining area and hall.

birds nest give us a very comfortable stay in fort kochi. it was only 5-10 min to the beaches and a lot of nice aesthetic cafés. the only thing which bothered us is that finding the home stay, as it was not as proper as in the location. we spend almost 15-30 minutes to find the property. otherwise we really enjoyed staying there.

I recently stayed at this lovely homestay and had a wonderful experience. The room was impeccably clean, which made my stay comfortable and pleasant. The owner was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any needs or questions i had. Their warm hospitality truly enhanced my visit. I highly recommend this homestay.

Very friendly atmosphere. Not far from mahatma gandhi beach. Also very near to nova l maritime museum.

Its a great spot right next to the main tourist attractions the church and the beach. Its also 10 mins from jewtown where one could see synagogue. Overall great location and experience. There is no elevator and rooms are on one floor above ground. They have books to read and rooms are comfortable. Will stay here again if visit fort cochin area.

The owner was very rude and inhospitable. The property and facilities were good. But the owner is pathetic, disrespectful and talks rudely. He misbehaved with us for petty issues.

Host is very nice and helpful - arranged tickets for kathakali show for us. Room was clean with fresh sheets and towels. Basic toiletries available, hot water in the shower. Mosquito nets in the windows and fan in the room. Perfect location for visiting cochi. L as it's walking distance to main tourist places in fort cochi.
