I recently stayed at a boathouse on Dal Lake, and it was an unforgettable experience! The ambiance was serene, with the tranquil lake and majestic mountains creating a picture-perfect setting. The boathouse itself was impeccably clean, with well-maintained AC rooms that provided a cool, comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The service was exceptional—staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Waking up to the gentle ripples of Dal Lake right outside our window felt like a dream. Highly recommend this boathouse for a peaceful, luxurious stay in the heart of nature!

A nice experience, great & clear mountain & lake view, perfect rooms, garden in front of the houseboats & their hospitality & behaviour was superb. Would definitely recommend everyone. Near ghat no 9, dal lake.

If you want to enjoy houseboats you should stay here nice view nice decoration staff was polite. From ghat number 9 pickup and drop boats provided by them and free of cost. Ac 24*7 working in condition.

We just returned from our kashmir trip and one of the highlights was our stay at best view group of houseboats. The rooms are really pretty with a decent size bathtub. The service was impeccable. They have a little boutique from where i ended up buying a lot of traditional souvenirs. The owner mr. Umar personally came and met every guest which we rarely get to see these days. The on boat staff adnan never said a no for anything. Wish we had stayed an extra night but overall would recommend it to all our friends.

The highlight of our 6 day kashmir was staying in the beautiful house boat (hb) in dal lake. We were very skeptical about the type, upkeep and facilities of the house boat. To our surprise, best view group of the house boat arranged by best travels was above our expectation. The hb is accessed from ghat no 9 on dal lake. One pickup and drop is free. The rooms were spacious, clean and provided with hot water 24x7. We didnt had issues with power outage unlike our hotel in srinagar. Each room had a king and a single bed which can accommodate up to 3 as per booking. Dinner and breakfast was part of our booking. The food was very spicy homely and testy. The view from the hb is mesmerizing in the morning and evening during golden hour (if it’s not cloudy. Overall best view group of houseboats is a well maintained and well managed house boat. Special thanks, the care taker who was very polite, helpful and friendly.

Me and my wife stayed there for 4 nights sightseeing around srinagar. The room was very clean, neat and tidy. The service was also very good. The room was cleaned everyday and all amenities were as mentioned on the website. Surely i would prefer to stay in the same houseboat if i happen to visit srinagar again.
