Lovely offbeat location for workation. Super polite and humble staff. Clean and good rooms. All east facing cottages gives you superb morning view. Hygienic and clean kitchen with good chef. Overall a very good experience. Thank you rakesh and himanshu

Banlekhi is one such place which is quaint and is away from he hussle and bustle of town. If someone wishes to have a quiet holiday in a beautiful setting within 300 kms from delhi. This place is just perfect. Plus the cottages are spacious, clean and tidy and the staff is courteous. And the property prices are reasonably priced.

The property access is so difficult. The road leading to the property is broken, rocky. You need to have good working tires for your car or else they may burst before you could reach there. Even if one happens to reach there, you need to go 300-400 meters of trekking leaving your car behind. If you are a trekking lover, then it's fine else you are stuck up there. The amenities description not matching with the property with no tv, refrigerator, and no ceiling fan. Only the standing fan. For kids, you don't have anything there being a resort which should have all features including for the kids. In short, it's quite a remote area if you don't want to get involve with the others.

I stayed at banlekhi resort for 2 nights. Enclosing some pros and cons- pros- 1. It is nestled in absolute solitude with rare sighting of mankind. The rooms and the entire resort offers an outstanding mountain and valley view. 2. The 360 degree of the resort is magical at every hour of the day. Right place for 100% peace. 3. Food is cooked fresh in the property on order with not many options but delicious quality. Cons- 1. The location on go-ogle maps takes you through banlekhi village, up through the forest roads to this property into no man's land. Make sure to call the care taker to call the care taker to escort you to the property when you reach there as the maps stop at a certain point. 2. Important- it is a good climb of some 300-400 meters into forest trails to reach the property. Be mentally prepared. Not feasible for kids and old aged as much. 3. Rooms are very poorly maintained with restricted supply of water, especially hot water. 4. No provision of basic amenities like towel, toiletries, clean bed linen at such heavy pricing. 5. Heater is available in rooms but with low power range.

Really was a very good experience overall

The location and the property was amazing and our stay was good, the only challenge to be faced is no water supply most of the time and 5 star food cost they charge for basic food.

The hotel in general is too remote and a bit difficult to access.

Rooms and food is highly priced during off season also, with basic menu like yellow dal and fried potatoes with a paneer dish.

Pros: Neat and clean cottages tucked away from habitation Cons: Not suitable for people from the plains. You have to walk steep uphill for 300 meters to reach the property. No food options whatsoever. The manager told us there is no food apart from dal and roti and asked us to get our own supplies and was still charging us as per their menu changes. They even used our leftover peanut namkeen handed to them in the night for their morning poha for breakfast. Manager is very arrogant. Property seems more like a mismanaged Homestay by an owner who doesn't keep a watch.

Location: well connected from Padampuri and a very calm location. Food: awesome! Service: awesome!
