Location: Its located on the main road, across the Bhimtal lake, surrounded by lush greenery.. Room: I had booked a Lake view room, which in reality, u can only catch a glimpse of the Bhimtal lake in between the branches of the various trees, right in front of the balcony..so u can't actually view the lake..And this applies to all the rooms, unless opt for higher floors..Nevertheless i was greeted with chirping of sparrows, parrots & various birds and the mountain range in the background..Room is quite big & has all the amenities of a 4 - star The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico Food: Highlight of the The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico is its food, which is freshly prepared on placing the order..Especially one should try the Mandua ki Roti, Palak ka Kapp & their Mint Mojito...It was out of the world... But at the same time, i would suggest to opt for meals included plan or have only one of the meal here, especially if u are traveling with family, otherwise the food cost itself will be as good as the room rent..Only con of the The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico is that food here is too expensive... Cleanliness & Hygiene: Linen & Towels are very clean & fresh Bathroom is very clean, equipped with all toiletries Tip: 1) Opt for higher floor rooms, with meal plan included...the corner rooms have a better view & bigger balcony 2) Pls book a cab on full day basis, if u want to visit Kainchi Dham, Mukteshwar or Nainital...Only mode of transport in Nainital, Bhimtal & surrounding rehgions are buses, cabs & bike taxis, as ther r no Tuk-Tuks available..The The Rosefinch Sarovar Portico provided me a travel agent number for booking cabs,

The overall experience at the property was excellent including their food arrangements, game zone and hospitality. Their services were prompt and people are courteous. The property is on the hill and on the lake and the location is picturesque and main attraction was the Bhimtal lake besides the property.

Overall experience was superb. The only issue was with the parking. The property doesn’t have a parking space. It parks guests’ cars down the hill somewhere near the market which is 1 km away from the place.

Location was excellent with an amazing view of the lake. Room was very well furnished, as well as spacious. Food was outstanding. Staff was very cordial, helpful & always serving with a smile.

Good stay, good food. Service attitude at the reception could have been better. Rooms towards the downward wing to be avoided because of the obstructive view and a little humid rooms.
