Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Food service was very poor whatever we asked for serve in dinner they refused as not available and same thing happened in morning breakfast as we asked to serve omelettes they refused due to shortage of eggs..

It’s a great offbeat place for a weekend gateaway!! Mine was a one day trip, and I wished I could stay a little longer. Great host and very good environment. The food is great here. The road to the property is little tricky but the host had provided great assistance. It’s a must visit place if you are travelling to Mukteshwar

Awesome place with great view of the valley and access to the nature i.e. Peaches trees and trek. It also provide delicious food which makes the experience even better so I would definitely recommend this property for having an awesome weekend.

The property is not accessible. Requires gypsy and not at all for aged people. Although food taste was good but the staff is reluctant while placing orders and providing amenities. We had informed for 7.30 am checkout but were delayed till 8.30 am.

A very beautiful property amidst all greenery. The rooms have been built with all amenities. To get a flavour of the local culture, one can choose the Kumaoni room, it's extremely beautiful with the reflection of how typical kumaoni homes are. I had a great stay with my family. The food too is very tasty.

Negatives: accessibility: the property is located on a steep track, which might be challenging for some visitors. However, the hotel provides a gypsy service to transport guests and their luggage, which was very convenient. Hygiene issues: one concerning issue was the lack of hygiene. We noticed dogs picking up plates in which food had been served, which is not acceptable for a hospitality establishment. Food quality: while the food was decent, it was consistently too salty despite repeated feedback. Overall, neelkanth retreat is a good choice for those looking to disconnect and enjoy a serene mountain escape. However, the management needs to address the hygiene and food quality concerns to ensure a better experience for future guests.
