Review Of Aranya Nivas ( KTDC)

Location is awesome. In the forest, bang on the shores of the lake. Stay was comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean. The room is not airconditioned. I guess, it would be warm in summers. The food in the restaurant is not good enough for the money they charge. The spread is too limited and the taste is below expectation. But one has no other dining option. Only wine and beer are served in the bar, no other drinks.

Complete Nature and gods place. Very awesome experience. It’s a good safe jungle experience . Rooms are very spacious

Excellent location and very comfortable stay. Very close to boat landing area and it is inside the Periyar tiger reserve. We should entry before 5:30 pm

The place and the ambiance of the place was so scenic and natural, best place to visit deep forest for elderly people for ease of access. The rooms and services were good, the place is a old place even nehru have visited, but maintained very well.The food taste is the only reason why gave very good, else I would have given excellent

The stay is peaceful,serene and eco-friendly.The diversified ecosystem of periyar tiger reserve can be deeply fumigate our senses throught this wonder ful stay.

Good,tasty foods, and friendly sraffs. Maintain the garden and play area will more attractive.

Nice property inside the reserve forest. Good south Indian food. Excellent lake. Nice 1-2 stay. Must try.

Property location was good, swimming pool was good, rooms good and clean. Food is decent but dinners are too costly

The stay was comfortable.The property was huge and it is at prime reserve forest location (few in India) however KTDC staff has its own plus and minus in customer service.Must for avid wildlife and nature photographers..food is genuine and sufficient with authentic taste..boating can be best used from here else it will be very tiring for children and aged persons..come and enjoy the wildlife just ahead of you..

Quality and clean very well good climate

Accommodation, location and facilities were excellent. But food was not up to mark. Rating only 3 for food

LOCATION IS SUPERB,ROOMS SPACY AND CLEAN. WILL CHANGE THE BEDSHEET AND CLEAN. BREAKFAST AND DINER ATE BUFFETS. POOL IS GOOD. THEY HAVE BOATING SEAT BOOKING OPTION. BUT THEY NO CHOICE FOR SELECTION OF SEAT

The rooms were good. Great ambiance inside the forest. They have regular animals coming at night . But morning boat safari for seeing animals will be purely luck. The reception will arrange the tkts for the boat safari. Over all a good experience at the resort with a good swimming pool and restaurant.

Good hotel At Night entry is restricted at 5.30 PM, check it before booking as kathkali show end after 6. No escalator for first floor rooms

Pleasant stay with a calm and cool atmosphere. The property is situated inside Periyar Tiger Reserve and it feels like you are staying inside a forest.
