as they promised booking rooms weren't up to mark . hot water wasn't there AC wasn't working properly.. despite of repeatedly enquiring staff wasn't helpful atall. need to cancel our booking at last minute and leave hotel . won't recommend anyone .

First time and I’m so glad I picked this place! Found out after checking in that the hotel’s been recently renovated – and you can totally see it. Rooms are fresh and comfy, the restaurant’s lovely, and the pool’s perfect for a lazy afternoon. Location is spot on, and the staff are super helpful with even the smallest things. If you’re looking for a clean, new property in a great spot, this one’s a winner!

From the moment I stepped into the lobby, it was clear that a great deal of thought and effort had gone into the recent renovation. The rooms themselves are a perfect blend of comfort and style, with high-end furnishings and a breathtaking bathroom that felt more like a spa. The culinary experience was equally impressive. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food . Every meal was a delightful journey, from the fresh, locally sourced ingredients to the artful presentation. The breakfast buffet was a feast, with a wide variety of options to suit every palate, and dinner was an exquisite fine-dining experience that I won't soon forget. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is its impeccable service. The staff, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was exceptional. They were not only professional and efficient but also genuinely warm and attentive. visited thekkady recently for a friend’s wedding and was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon the grand thekkady — the same hotel i’d stayed at back in 2019. the property has been beautifully renovated since then, but the warm hospitality of the staff remains just as memorable. the rooms are tastefully redone very recently, the food is exceptional, and the staff went the extra mile to help us get around town and explore nearby attractions. it was a perfect blend of comfort and care. i’ll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Loved my stay at The Grand Thekkady! The place has been recently renovated, and you can really feel the difference — clean rooms, modern interiors, and a cozy vibe throughout. Location is a big plus. It’s right in the heart of Thekkady, super close to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and spice markets, which made getting around really easy.

Very nada experience with this hotel, very bad smelling in washroom as it is very old property and not maintained. No wifi was there. Bf was average. Hardly not recommended to any one, please don't waste your mony and time to book there.
