Had the worst experience here. I booked the room here for my first wedding anniversary. 1. Wifi was not working, i booked the room from mm t. It says wifi is available but it wasn't the case. 2. Bathroom leakage, toilet seat cover was not fitted. 3. Room was not clean. 4. Owner was arrogant, rude, dishonest and was not available Later when he was available, he came to our room with attitude and asked us to give good reviews without doing anything in return. 5. Cottage was under construction, still they were taking the bookings. 6. Food is okayish 7. Tv was not working. 8. The location view was filled with litter. They don't even care to clean the location

The service from the staff at albarq cottage was very good, friendly and helpful. This is the only reason we continued to stay at the cottage. However, the infrastructure of the place is terrible, and needs serious repair and improvement. To list a few: 1) the wifi was not working for our entire 2 day stay, staff shared their personal hot spot with us to read msgs. 2) pipes in the bathroom were leaking and water was constantly dripping. Cracks in the basin, toilet bowl and broken tiles. 3) the bed frame is resting on the ground, and even with a thick mattress, is so low that it is difficult to get up from it, and sprains your back. 4) the toaster was burnt out, 5) the upholstery and carpets were worn out, discolored, and need replacement. 6) the tv was not working 7) the bedroom window had a broken glass from which flies were coming in. 8) kitchen was very unhygienic, and old aluminium vessels used for cooking. 9) approach road to reception from the road, is muddy, potholed and unpaved, and the car cannot reach the entrance. The only things working well were the hot water geyser and the electric heating of the bed. Overall, this place has the potential to become a pleasant homely place to stay, but currently severely deficient in very basic infrastructure.

Two days stay was perfect with awesome food and home like environment. Host was patient and ready to provide whatever required

I stayed at this property for two days in last week of december and i had an amazing experience there. The owner mr. Umaan came to greet us personally and caretaker nisar bhai served us really well. Service and location of this property is amazing. Also the ambience of room was very aesthetic with kashmiri touch. Heating facility was also very good with bukhari and electric blankets. It's near the gandola point which makes it easy. Overall, hospitality was great and i had the best time there.

I want refund of one room because we only got one room i booked two room and got one room. This is not what i accept. I have also emailed you. I want complete refund. Of one room

We had a pleasant stay in albarq cottages. It’s spacious room with comfortable heating (bukhari) during the winter. They have a cafe where you can have breakfast and dinner. Staffs are nice ( mr burhan) and they will help you. One challenge is it’s 30 mtrs from main road and also 30 mtrs from the cafe/reception with a narrow path to walk. It might sound a little but when it’s snowing, it gets really difficult. Overall a good place if you like a private experience.
