Reasonable hotel

Just to start the hotel is clean and tidy at all times. The pool is good, the hotel is location is good close to the beach and not to far to walk to shops .But unfortunately that is where the good bit ends. Staff are ok can understand a bit of English ??the beds are like granite the breakfast are terrible choices are boiled egg / scrambled egg / fried egg or pasta. There are plenty of options if you are a vegetarian but I am not ??.There is one toaster that hardly works.

Honeymoon-let down

We went there for our honeymoon. The food was bland and very repetitive to say the least with little choice. The pool was not heated at all and the small tiles were missing in lots of places and a small child even cut his foot open whilst we were there. The hotel staff were mainly unhelpful and unable to smile. Not a good advert for an up and coming tourist area.

Regatta Palace

We are here at the moment and This hotel is more like a 2 star than a 4 star ! Staff don't speak and never a smile. We are bed & breakfast and the only thing edible was the toast . The room was clean but dated . Very basic and I dread to see a lower star hotel if this is a 4 star Mark

Worst accomodation experience ....

First of all, there were 3 of us staying in the same room. When we arrived they hadnt prepared the room for 3. We were okey with it, it happens. Then the third person didnt get a proper blanket even because they were out of blankets ?!? First for us! The food in the hotel was terrible! During our stay there was a bomb threat to the hotel in the middle of the night. The police jumped into our room and asked us to go out. We were sitting outside the hotel clueless whats going on. At some point the administator comes and explains everything in Bulgarian/Russain. We asked to explain it in English but nope... Eventually a bystander explained us what was going on... The staff was acting really inappropriately. 2 members of the staff were asking us out while they were working and making sexual remarks to us. It was really uncomfortable. In addition, while working they were hitting cats who had wandered into the territory. The cleaning lady didnt come to change our towels. Ofcourse, towels got dirty in the end. We threw them on the bathroom floor for the cleaning lady to change them when she finally came, but she but them back on our beds and left them there. When we eventually checked out, the administrator made us pay for the towels because apparantley they were not able to clean them. How crazy is that?!? Conlusion - awful experience and dont recommend this place to anyone!

Does not do what it says on th....

Not sure where to start.we saw a cat in the restaurant on more than one occasion.the food was beyond basic(we were half-board),with the highlight of the day being cheese on toast for breakfast.if you do not like chicken then you are struggling at dinner.we were making chicken sandwiches to fill ourselves up.little variety with the food, making it a long two weeks.most of the hotel staff walk around like they are zombies with no interest in their job or customers or even customer service.we had huge arguments with the very rude bar staff about differing prices on bar lists, and I was told it was my problem not the hotel!the grass around the pool area also caused an argument when my wife was sun-bathing on it(no signs to say otherwise),and the gardener was about to put the hose on her when the manager intervened!the swimming pool is adequate but a lot of the tiles are coming off(can provide photo),and we even saw a small boy cut his foot badly on one occasion.the chambermaid on our floor was very good, and nothing was too much trouble.the room was ok,but we had single beds(it was our honeymoon!),no mini bar,no safe in room,no sea view, about five channels in English on the tv,the shower was nearly hanging off the wall, the toilet was on continual flush so we had to keep the bathroom door shut, the shower cubicle leaked water all over the floor, the phone did not work(reported on day two out of fourteen).the gym(we were told was free on booking),was £2.50 per hour.the shop had closed and now sells trips only.the rooms facing the pool also face the road, consequently the noise is horrendous with people going to/fro the beach and clubs, takeaway places open all night, taxis, people shouting and screaming,etc...that was as close to entertainment as you will get in the hotel though,as it has all the atmosphere of an insurance seminar.not impressed in the slightest and definitely not as sold or advertised...
