Terrible experience (please read entirely),
Property infrastructure is fine but no property (be it a hotel or a hostel) will do justice to the money spent by a customer if they do not provide service and amenities promised in the property description.
The day we checked in, first thing I got to know that the two rooms I had booked are on different floors (3rd and 4th floor) even though I had specifically asked while booking that I am travelling with my parents and grand parents and we would need rooms on the same floor, to which the (so called) hostel management agreed to. Post this, it took them 3 hrs to put an extra bedding in one of our rooms which we had requested to put up during check in. After 2 reminders, we had literally pull the hostel staff till the room for the bedding placement, they were repeatedly giving excuses for the delay. After this, the lift stopped working. My grandparents had to suffer so much. They had room on the 3rd floor and could not get down all day which ruined all our plans to visit places. Most importantly, the hostel staff just did not care enough about this situation…
They gave TV in the room, but no remote. We called reception (btw, they do not have a telephone in room, no reception one digit caller number, you need to call on a 3rd party provider number which takes 10 minutes to reach reception) and they sent a person after 2hrs for remote fixing. The person came, checked, could not fix it, said he is coming back in some time, never came back.
Think 100 times before coming here. If they can behave this way with a family, imagine how they will behave with teenagers and people in the 20s staying there.
