Whistling oak is one of the best places i have visited so far. The place is located at the peak of the mountain with fantastic weather and hospitality. Mr. Gaurav bhat is one of the gems of the person who is soft spoken and takes care of all your needs very well.

Property is beautiful with mountain view rooms and greenary. Owners of the stay are sweet and friendly. Candy, cherry and jimmy are friendly dog. The short trek to get to the homestay is bit difficult for elderly people or people with knee problem

Amazing experience staying at whistling oaks. Welcoming and comforting energy right from the beginning. Kids had their best time with baba & aajee. Thanks gaurav (the host) for your superb hospitality.

The views from and around the property are impeccable. A very welcoming and friendly staff and the host.

To describe this property in one word, fabulous. The location is very serene and silent. If you get a clear sky you can see the constellations and we even saw some satellites zoom over the sky. So clear. The property is surrounded by oak trees, plum and apricot orchards so if you come in season you can get to pluck some and have. Gaurav is a fantastic host, he took care of all our needs and i must say the food is just fantastic. You must try the tea and pakodas as a snack with homemade green bhang chutney. Will leave you wanting for more. The rooms are cozy and well kept. You just need to climb up a bit from the parking to the property but that's not too much of a climb. We also had a bonfire and that was fun. The most amazing thing is you get a complete himalayan range view from here right from dhauladhar range till annapurna you can see it all. Jageshwar temple is 2 hrs drive from here and doll ashram is 20 mins. Mukteshwar temple would be about 40 mins.
