Review Of Wangnoo Houseboats

Very poor houseboat, my request to all members please do not book this houseboat. Food quality bed, mosquito very large and no proper washroom.

Not cleaned, bed sheet dirty, same as blanket, no electricity in morning, no hot water. Terrible experience

Very poor quality rooms at Wangnoo Houseboats, torn blankets, old furniture, third class bathrooms, torn curtains, no water available, no blower, dirty bedsheets, rooms are having bad odour.

extremely rude. The pics that were shown while we booked the boat for deluxe were nowhere even close to what we got; then they said those pics were of super deluxe and said if we gave another t get would give that service! duping the customers. The room was dingy not even a latch to lock the door, no tv, no hot water, decor not the least bit as shown, neither for the room nor for the other areas

Disgusting facilities were there apart from that good quality was terrible. It was wastage of money. Totally horrible experience

I stayed one night and checked in very late. However i could get tea from service staff but there was no telephone in the room, no heater in the room, and the worst part is that there was no water in the toilet. When i called on their number after arranging a intercom i got reply that our attendent will look in to the issue only after 8 am in morning. Just imagine we need to wait for water in room whole night. Hot water is a far cry. So for me it’s total waste of my overpaid amount as i couldn’t get any facilities in the boat. I am raising the complaint because i paid amount and not received basic and necessary services in the house boat.

A well maintained houseboat. If you like calm place then only go for nigeen lake houseboats. To bring anything from market even to eat apart from complimentary meals one has to sail using shikaara. No lunch will be provided. You have to pay inr600 extra which was a sudden shock to me even for heater at night as this was not mentioned anywhere at the time of booking.
