This is the best place for solo travelers and groups, The best thing about this hostel is every place is near and staff members are cool and mind-blowing.

Pros: Budget friendly for solo travelers. Swimming pools was great. Lawn was beautiful at evening, everyday party at 7pm for The host fewer Cons: Totally ignoring staff toilets not cleaned after you checked in using pool after 6 not allowed.

We travelled as a group of three guys. Service wise it was alright. Room size (8 dorm) was too small. There was no place to even stand, and if by chance all the people occupying the beds were present in the room, it became too suffocating. When we reached, the dorms were empty, but still was not allowed for early check in, as the owners were real sticklers for rules (the check in time is 2 pm). We reached the hostel in the morning around 9, and calmly stayed in the common area. We enquired if we can shift into the dorm when it was about 1.30 pm, and were met with a almost principal like response of how time is of the essence and somehow in Goa letting people enter their dorms before half and hour was against their rules. Even when checking out, we were met with some real rude responses from the hostel management, as if we were trespassing private property. It was 10.45 and a helper guy came in our room and literally asked us to get out, that too in front of other fellow travelers in the room. It was so embarrassing.

Good ambiance! There's a pool, pretty well maintained.

Staff at Retreat is completely understanding and supportive. They were always ready to provide whatever support we required.

I stayed in a female dorm only and it was pretty nice and hygienic. The hotel staff was quite helpful with anything and it is nearest to The Anjuna Beach which was great. You can just walk by and in 2min you will be there.

Food was not that great, stay was not that great, WiFi sucked. The caretaker was friendly. I moved to the hosteller from here which was 10x better and cheaper.

Location was convenient as its in the Anjuna area. Quiet and spacious area.

Best place to stay in Anjuna. Friendly host you'll fell like family. 2 min walking from Anjuna Beach. 2 min walking from market. Best is you will have pool for resting in day time. Will must visit again.

Find it on google otherwise it very difficult to reach there. Rest all is fantastic.
