Location is good, udupi cafe restaurant is just adjacent to Sterling and serves excellent food. Sterling has got a quick access to backwaters from the property which is very convenient. Staff members - Sachin, Paripoorna were extremely courteous. Breakfast served at the hotel was amazing. Few things: dont have high expectations from swimming pool & games inside the property. Cleaniness of common area can be much better & improvised

Terrible Stay

Poor infra meets poor service. Rooms are starting to deteriorate. Rooms were not ready even after informing about late check in. Room cleaning was not done properly. No staff to help with luggage or coordinate checkout. Very disappointing fall in service levels.

Needed Urgent Attention on the F&B Services

The stay was pleasant and relaxing. Very good location and ambience. I had fun singing on the Karaoke Music System which was placed at the Recreation Club by Mr. Manoj, who was very friendly and he helped in arranging it in a short span of time. Rooms - Rooms were clean and well maintained. Housekeeping - The HK Staff took too much time in attending, cleaning the rooms and providing the toiletries. Restaurant - Food was of poor quality and moreover the F&B services given in the Restaurant was pathetic. The waiting time from placing an order to getting the food on the plate was too long and kept us waiting with no sign of communication. Management must hire skilled and well-trained F&B staff to showcase the Culinary experience to their guests. It was no value for money if I had to compare an apple to an apple. Lacking in basic etiquettes and seriously need to upgrade the Standards which was not at all my 4 star experience. Absolutely poor quality of food, tasteless and none of my family members enjoyed it. I would recommend "UDUPI CAFE" for Vegetarians which is just a stone throw away from Sterling Karwar & "SWETHA LUNCH HOME" for Non-vegetarians which is located at the Market road, say 5-6 kms away from the Resort. The food here was really good and we all thoroughly enjoyed having it here multiple times. Front Office - Mr. Shubham & Ms. Vilma, both were very helpful and courteous. Thank you so much for your friendly hospitality and taking care of us throughout. Management must look into hiring good Trained staff and yes there is a vast scope of improvement as I see from a Hotelier's point of view.

Exceptional Stay with Warm Hospitality Near the Beach

I had a wonderful experience staying at Sterling Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location near the beach was a big plus – perfect for relaxing walks and beautiful views. A special mention to the restaurant staff, Jaya and Raniya, who went above and beyond to take care of everything. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor truly made a difference. Excellent Stay

Excellent location near Kali River and beach. Cleanliness maintained. Staff behaviour great, always greeted with a smile. Food tasty and delicious Service excellent. Will like to mention names of Mayank and Ravikant in restaurant doing excellent work. Reception person also well behaved. Highly recommended.

We came to your property but room was not upto the standards they have five room all room are issue such unhygienic and we are forced to come out from sterling hotel & we had stated this is not the place where we can stay with infant -they too confirmed that room was no hygienic, in the room was found with used cotton - housekeeping was very poor. with kids no one can stay there, I therefore request you to refund entire amount. your representative support to revert witin one hour but never called up - we had terribly experience
