We are a group of 6 which included a child and booked 3 rooms .. We checked in around 3:30 PM and were told to wait for half an hour as the room wasn’t ready. We patiently cooperated, but the problems started right after. When our driver entered the room just to drop the luggage (while we were still waiting at the reception), the staff started arguing, saying drivers weren’t allowed inside. It was completely unnecessary and disrespectful.
Before booking, we had asked for the room tariff directly at the hotel, but the rate quoted was much higher than what we found on MakeMyTrip. We booked online instead, and from that moment onwards, the staff’s attitude completely changed rude, unhelpful, and arrogant.
The next morning at 11:30 AM, we got a call demanding that we vacate immediately or pay extra, even though we were part of a group booking. When we agreed to pay and requested time till 12:30, they suddenly had no issue clearly showing they were just trying to collect extra money.
The Wi-Fi never worked despite repeated requests. We later came to know that the hotel is up for sale because of poor staff management. The owner, a lady from Germany, was kind and understanding, but unfortunately, the staff’s behavior ruined everything.
We vacated by 11:30 AM itself and moved to another property. Overall, a terrible experience unprofessional staff, poor service, and zero hospitality. Not recommended at all.
