Review Of The Killian Boutique Hotel

We are a group of 6 which included a child and booked 3 rooms .. We checked in around 3:30 PM and were told to wait for half an hour as the room wasn’t ready. We patiently cooperated, but the problems started right after. When our driver entered the room just to drop the luggage (while we were still waiting at the reception), the staff started arguing, saying drivers weren’t allowed inside. It was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Before booking, we had asked for the room tariff directly at the hotel, but the rate quoted was much higher than what we found on MakeMyTrip. We booked online instead, and from that moment onwards, the staff’s attitude completely changed rude, unhelpful, and arrogant. The next morning at 11:30 AM, we got a call demanding that we vacate immediately or pay extra, even though we were part of a group booking. When we agreed to pay and requested time till 12:30, they suddenly had no issue clearly showing they were just trying to collect extra money. The Wi-Fi never worked despite repeated requests. We later came to know that the hotel is up for sale because of poor staff management. The owner, a lady from Germany, was kind and understanding, but unfortunately, the staff’s behavior ruined everything. We vacated by 11:30 AM itself and moved to another property. Overall, a terrible experience unprofessional staff, poor service, and zero hospitality. Not recommended at all.

Clean rooms and good hospitality by the staffs.

Hotel is located near the main attraction point of kochi. Break fast was excellent with lot of varieties of veg and non veg item. Service is average. In room ac was not working properly. Reception desk manager not responsive

It was extremely comfortable. The property is at a very convenient place with anything and everything you need in and around it. Really enjoyed the property and our stay. We will be back soon!

When we arrived at the hotel there was a huge construction going on in front of the hotel. There was crane and they had dug up the road. The second day the water in our toilet and faucets were all brown. They came in and fixed it. The next day again it happened. We understand that these kind of things happen. But the hotel should take some responsibility and refund some percentage of the price we have paid which they didnt. So very disappointed

The hotel does not have a view, rooms are big, spacious and clean, however staying in the room can be boring without a good view when you stay close to a beach

The hotel location is good, amenities are top. The staff is friendly. Rooms are big with all the latest facilities. The beach is just a 2 min walk.

The killians is a quaint boutique hotel in tge heart of fort kochi, with all the happening places in it's vicinity. The staff was cordial.

Nice big room, pool with water. Service very good. Food in between ok and good. Nearby tourist places are in walkable distance.

The stay was really good. Very neat and clean room. Friendly staff. And convenient location. Overall very good experience.

It was good experience and very good behaviour of staff

We had a good stay for a night at killian’s. The lunch was great as we checked in. We got our room immediately. However, the breakfast is not a buffet but a selection of continental or indian. Selection was pretty limited for both selections the hotel was located very well for biennale.

Breakfast was not good and not worth the money. The road to the hotel was always congested with traffic

We were 2 families with kids and stayed at there property for 1 night and we had a good stay! we had dinner there, the food was good, but the chicken lollipop and pineapple juice were excellent and we highly recommend. The property overall is clean and co-operative staff. The room stays were good, we had a good relaxed night sleep. The bathroom missed a shower curtain, and the shower section need some minor maintenance works. The property is very well located, for tourists and artists, with everything being walking distance away.

Positives the location. The staff and the food needs improvement. The place wasn't value for money. Are to the facilities provided. Phone wasn't working even after repeated complaints. Tv wasn't working and the maintenance guy gave a lame excuse that it was a service provider issue. However, we could notice that it was working in another room. Bathroom toiletries were below par. The room which we got didn't have any view and the window opened to another building wall.

We stayed at The Killian Boutique Hotel for 4 nights during Kochi art festival Birnnale. The hotel is right next to all the action and is lively during the evenings. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help. Definitely recommend.

The treatment extended to us was very bad... Firstly they said we don't have tie up with makemytrip and then gave us a standard room and then later to deluxe... Where the Water was dripping from the AC duct.
