Review Of The Country Club Wild Life Resort

Rooms which was given to us Bison cottage were pathetic with lizards and lizard droppings on the bed. Didn't have have water in the bathroom...rooms were not kept clean with dust everywhere..there was even a frog inside the room which had to be chased away. The service was really poor. it's not a professionally managed set up. the government quarters would be much better. Not a penny worth of that I paid for this place. The most pathetic experience ever. Please don't stay at this place if you are spending more than 5k.

I would not rate the place more than a 2 star. We booked it for 1 night over the weekend. The place is old and needs a lot of maintenance. Stayed in elephant bungalows, the room was big and spacious but the windows were super dirty, the window glass had oil stains and lipstick marks from the earlier guests I guess. The washroom was big but it was stinking and the WC is not that clean. Food was ok, for dinner since we reached the dining area a little late few items were over. They have 2 to 3 large pits in the property where they dump the garbage along with waste bags and worst thing is they put fire on it. At night it stings and I actually could not sleep properly because of this. I am allergic to bad smell and it bothers me a lot. Also I did call the property manager before starting my journey from Bangalore. That guy very specifically asked me not to carry liquor as excise is very strict and they impose fine. I didn’t carry because I didn’t feel the need to but this was a clear misguide. As an individual I can carry limited amount of liquor within the state of Karnataka if the bottles are procured from Karnataka it self. I don’t understand why he asked me not to carry. I don’t think I will visit them again. I had high hopes from the brand, but it didn’t live up to expectations.

stay was pleasant. property offers good ambience. best part was wild animals sighting with in property like deers, black lagoons, peacock, wild hen, duck and monkeys. it offers decent amenities like: games area for Adult and kids. play area & park for kids, decent pool and good restaurant. Food was decent and have a good spread. staffs are courteous. only part could have improved that they've do not offer complementary water bottles in room & a couple of lights was not working in cottage. otherwise rooms are cozy and maintained.

The property is very close to the forest and convenient to reach - the last mile road is muddy and bumpy. The property was sprawling and has plenty of room for a large group. Food was basic but well prepared. Rooms and overall upkeep of the place could have been much better. The aging shows and more attention needs to be given from a maintenance perspective.

It was awesome stay and food was excellent and staff also friendly.

Very poorly maintained property, not wort at all. Not even worth 3k/night. Bad dirty bathroom, bad food, mold in bathroom window. Dirty furniture and linen.

Service is very bad. Maintenance is poor. There was also some of our stuff stolen from the property.

It's a very old property and they haven't maintained it! the pool was not clean and the room did not have an ac. The service and hospitality was also poor. However the food was good. 12k for 1 night was a ripoff

The hotel was ok, but the road leading to the hotel was very bad. The restrooms inside the room were very stinky, and the water was leaking from the closet. The rooms don't have an ac given the summer these days ac should have been an option. Lot of monkeys and deers within premises kids had fun, but the monkeys would steal your stuff and would scare you too and they also take dip in the swimming pool. The food was very nice. The network is not available anywhere inside the hotel for any service provider jio, airtel, vodafone and wifi is a nightmare. The rooms were spacious, clean, the swimming pool was ok, overall experience was ok.

No ac in the cottage, pathetic service, if we order or request something we will never get. The fan stopped working at midnight, i requested them early in the morning to repair and reminded them every one hour and every request was on deaf ears. They never did come even after 5-6 reminder. They don't have proper amenities for play not the resort was well maintained. It's not worth staying in the resort, it waste of hard earned money.

Stay is good but the food was not up to the expectations for the price i paid. Definitely this is something to be improved. Also room service is very poor and no one responses from reception.

Pros: the resort is in the middle of the reservation. You’ll get to see animals grazing on the property and there are a lot of activities. Cons: the food is sub-par. There’s no ac in any of the rooms on the property as of yet (april 2024. Wouldn’t recommend this property during the summers.

Very helpful and kind staff, spacious and clean rooms, average buffet, a bit pricy drinks, cable tv wasn’t really working, no room internet and no cellular network only a hotel landline available, a slow internet is also available at reception desk, a few irate monkeys loitering in and near the pool which may be a nuisance during hot summers as they too come for water and keep you company, beautiful and mesmerizing sight of shy deer's lazing and grazing around the rooms and property which makes connecting with nature an overall enchanting experience at this nice resort.

Resort and rooms are good to stay, food is too good. There are many options for kids to play. Good resort to enjoy

The property is well maintained, the staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and the deers are everywhere. During summer it is a bit uncomfortable, especially on the first floor, as the rooms are not air-conditioned. Otherwise it is a really cute stay.

Not so good, staffs were rude and place is unhygienic. Food is not good and place is not worth the money.
