Excellent Stay
The Room was Spic & Span. The property manager was very courteous & helpful. Bed coffee/tea kits are kept in plenty in the room. No restaurant attached to this hotel and hence no B/F, Lunch or Dinner provided by this hotel.

Good Stay
The suite room was spacious and was very pleasant despite being non AC. Parking space was good. Room service was prompt. However, the recliner sofa had a stink (indicating it was used). Also, the shower flow wasn’t that great. I’d give a 3.5/5

We enjoyed our stay at the tea garden river side munnar, property situated in between munnar bus stand and KSRTC bus stand. Very good property with clean rooms. No kitchen in the premises but we can get online delivery. Overall a good place to stay. Thank you...

nice and clean spacious rooms
Rooms were nice and clean. Hosts were very helpful and treated very well. View from the rooms in okay. As per the name it’s not like you will river or tea gardens. Those are outside the property but you can only see tea gardens with some obstacles. One thing I missed is restaurant. They do not have in house restaurant. I think they have mentioned it already but I missed to check while booking. Just felt overly priced. Might be all Munnar properties are overly priced.

Disappointing Experience at Tea Garden Riverside Munnar
I had the misfortune of staying at Tea Garden Riverside Munnar, and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this place was nothing like what I was expecting. First off, the washroom hygiene was absolutely unacceptable. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and smelled awful. I understand that some places might be rustic, but basic cleanliness should be a non-negotiable standard. Secondly, there was no meal service, which was incredibly frustrating. I had to go out and find food elsewhere, which is something I didn’t expect when booking a stay that clearly had the potential for providing basic amenities like on-site meals. Speaking of amenities, the property offered none of the essentials I had anticipated. There was no air conditioner, no laundry service, no microwave, and no mini fridge. It was really hard to feel comfortable and with no way to store food or even keep drinks cool. To top it all off, the property had a terrible sewage-like smell that lingered throughout my stay. It was suffocating and made the whole environment uncomfortable. Now, the most misleading part—there is no tea garden, nor is there any visible river. I was expecting a beautiful riverside view surrounded by lush tea gardens, but instead, I found myself staring at an uninspiring and run-down property. The name of the hotel and its actual location couldn’t be more mismatched. It felt completely deceptive. Overall, Tea Garden Riverside was an incredibly disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or comfortable stay. Save your money and look elsewhere! I don’t know how come this property rated so high on social media platform.

Location very close to city centre (1km) Rooms are clean and Toilets too. staff are very friendly and helpful. No restaurant attached , but plenty of options nearby .

The room was good but the bathroom space was too less as compared to the room's space which can be improved also the hotel's facade has no platiation of any plants or flower plantation which give a good atmosphere in a hotel

facilities are well maintained and nice,but the issue is there is only 2 restaurants (expensive) which will close 9.30 pm, and visitors are not allowed walk outside after 10 pm...please be aware

Poor Stay
The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not as comfortable as we had hoped. The atmosphere felt a bit restrictive, especially for families with children. There seemed to be a constant sense of scrutiny, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay. While it’s understandable that hosts have house rules, a more welcoming and flexible approach would have made a big difference.

Worth not more than 2000
It is showing good room and selling poor ! Good enough to pay per night not more than that Small rooms . Easy for couples only . Not for family . ! , that time room type was different and big . from hotel side they gave me small room . it will show very high price instead book through booking. Main thing is location it is very nicely placed . Bcz of this experience never going to book anything through mmt. It ruined my mood and trip ! My bad wishesh- curse to whoever responsible. God make them pay for this . I worked honestly in my life never cheated anyone! Tips : if u r budget is low go near vegetable market plenty cheap accommodation available! And if u looking for decent stays On the go room will be available! Book only if u want Hotel Set up ! Where auxiliary services will be available! Come with layout understanding! There is no point staying in central Munnar ! If u need central munnar limited high quality stays available. Choose The Silver Tips , Jays Inn, Hotel C7 , never go for residency or rooms more than 2k !it doesn’t have ac !on the name of Standard Double Room is a single room what I got Never search - google it ! Call hotel and get a deal directly

Excellent stay
Location is awesome. It will be much easier to commute in any direction. Hotel staffs are polite, friendly and very helpful. Hotel is neat and clean all the time. I would recommend to stay there.
