Property: The property was beautiful and spacious, but it was not well-maintained.
Room: We chose the Himalayan Cottage rooms. The room was good enough, but it did not have enough hot water in the shower, the dressing mirror was small, and the TV did not have the option to stream Netflix.
Food: We ordered chili paneer and mushroom, and spinach and cream crepes during our stay. The chili paneer and mushroom were not spicy enough. The crepes were good. The breakfast buffet had a good variety, but some bakery items were stale. Overall, the food was average.
Service: We had no complaints regarding the service.
Other amenities: We enjoyed the morning trek organized by the resort. The recreation room only had a table tennis table and a snooker table.
Experience: I would have given a higher rating had it not been for the unprofessional behavior exhibited during checkout. First, nowhere was it written that food items kept in the minibar were chargeable. I have stayed in many other five-star properties, but all of them either provide soft drinks and snacks as complimentary or prominently display that items taken from the minibar are chargeable. Second, they charged a price higher than the MRP for those items taken from the minibar. Due to this reason I rated my experience with this resort as average.
