4. Hotel is in good location. Rooms are slightly overpriced. No problems faced although.

I booked my hotel for 2 nights and they denied to check in me and charged me 1200 extra for staying

Had informed about my early check-in but still charged me extra rs. 500. I had booked a non ac room but their staff allotted an ac room and then charged me extra rs. 1000. Did not accept payment through upi. Room is too small and bed covers are not clean and room was so filthy. Never ever stay here as it is one of the worst guest house

Location is peaceful little isolated. Interiors are well done. Staffs are polite but room service needs improvement.

I showed the air-conditioned room when i made the booking, when i booked with the money i saw no air-conditioned room

The room was spacious enough for a solo traveler with all amenities provided

Room also total area is so cleaned better hygienic.

It is a guest house.Room, washroom,bedsheet etc were cleaned. AC, fan, geyser, TV, lights all were in good condition. Couch, table, almirah was available. Wifi was also available. Staff is cooperative. They know Bengali/Hindi/English. In house food facility is not available. You can order food through them or arrange by yourself. Landline was not available. You have to ring the bell in room or call to the booking counter. Location is also nearby main road. However if you are new here then use map/ola/uber to reach. On the counter booking may cost you more. So for booking of room I would suggest online booking especially through Make my trip. MMT reflects genuine rate.

The room I stayed was clean, nice and well equipped modern amenities. Great stay.

Sankar Guest House is located in Tagore Park in a peaceful place. Being a newly constructed building, it offers clean rooms with nice interiors. Of course the washroom is also a charm. I will definitely suggest this Guest House.

It was very mediocre stay that I had in Kolkata. The hotel gets three out of five in cleanliness. The room was good. The hotel can improve.

As per the services the hotel provides, the charge is just not justified. The room service was awful. Multiple times we faced water scarcity in the bathroom and after repeated calling the reception was non-responsive. The pillow was also dirty.

Very well and staff are very helpful and friendly.
