It was very pleasant stay. Staffs are friendly and food also good. Overall nice place to stay.

Most horrible experience. Hotel was under renovation and basic facilities weren’t available. Lift was not functional and we had to climb 2 floors. The hallway was littered with power cables which was scary. There was power cut around midnight with no backup. We were literally in the dark with no fans or lights. Even drinking water was not sufficient. Nobody was available to contact as the room phone was disconnected. Bed sheets had cigarette holes. It was a true nightmare. Even the breakfast was served in the room due to renovation. Pathetic food and worst service. Only saving grace were the security guards who helped us with the luggage and cleaned our car as we had to park under a tree since parking space was unavailable. The car windshield was thoroughly stained with bird droppings and tree leaves. We strongly recommend never to book your stay at this place until things are in order. Same has been communicated to Make my Trip. Ideally this place should not have been listed for reservations and that to with non refundable clauses. Make my trip provided a voucher as partial compensation however the experience was very traumatic and we hope no further customer should face such agony and harassment.

Property is under construction. Lift was not working. Full of dust and workers, working in the hotel. If hotel is under renovation, they should not offer the rooms to stay.

Location was right in the centre of the town.It was excellent. Breakfast was healthy and tasty. Staffs were extremely cooeperative there.

I stayed at Shankar Bhavan in Berhampur and had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent, close to the city center and easily accessible. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly, polite, and quick to respond to requests. The food, especially the biryani, was delicious and freshly prepared. Wi-Fi worked well, and the overall environment was comfortable and safe.Good Service 👍👍

Room was good but didn’t have a window. It was totally dark in day no way to know it is day or night! Almost all rooms have no window Construction activity was going on was not mentioned during booking, very disturbing, Lift not working, I am USA citizen came to my maternal uncle home for function, was disappointed
