I recently visited Puri as a solo traveler and stayed at this homestay booked through MakeMyTrip. For someone like me who travels with a limited budget, this was the best choice. The location is excellent—just 600 meters from Jagannath Puri Temple and about 2 km from the beach. It’s not a hotel but a proper homestay, which makes it pocket-friendly yet very comfortable. The room was clean, had RO water, CCTV surveillance, and a neat bathroom. The atmosphere felt safe and homely, which is very important for solo travelers. The owner was very kind and helpful—he even dropped me near the temple on his scooty when I was going for darshan. Such gestures made my trip more memorable. Overall, this is the best budget-friendly stay option in Puri for solo travelers.

Hygeine was not up to the mark, immediate pest control needs to be done. There were cockroaches all around. Bed sheet was stinking, . Rest is ok. Location is ok near temple, AC was working fine, hot water was available. H

They were welcoming. But food services was not widely available near this place and communication was poor from this location.

The stay itself is all good and clean. But the area around it is not good. There's no clean roads or restaurants nearby. The temple is about 1-1. 5kms from the stay.
