The staff especially the lady at the reception was rude. Just because the booking was made through we were being treated badly.

Excellent hotel in a very safe neighbourhood. The food was good enough, the staff and service was amazing. Bery nice rooms and close to the consulate offices as well. Highly recommended.

The stay was comfortable. Very quite place no disturbance at. Room was big and clean. Bath room was very clean. The morning breakfast was also good. Location is near T nagar and very comfortable to go for shopping etc.

The hotel has good rooms. The breakfast menu was limited but with great quality. The staff services were prompt. Gimmicks, which does not make sense for overnight stay, like gym, spa, pool are all unavailable. Very close to US consulate as well, around 10 mins walking.

We stayed at Rathna Residency, near the US Consulate, Chennai. For a 3-star hotel, it performed quite well, though there are a few areas for improvement. Food: The food was just okay — acceptable for the category, but not outstanding. Location: Excellent, especially if you need easy access to the US Consulate. Room: The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which was a pleasant surprise for this range. Bathroom: This is where attention is needed. The bathroom door had lost its polish, giving a slightly worn-out look. The toilet help-o-jet was too harsh and uncomfortable. Overall, I’d say it’s a solid 3-star property that overperforms for its range. With a bit more attention to bathroom upkeep, it could easily feel closer to a 4-star experience.

We were in Chennai for Moharram congregation and stayed for 11 days at the Rathna Residency. our stay was very comfortable. The hotel is clean and neat and the staff is very courteous. Special mention about Preskilla who looked after us during breakfast and saw to it we got good service. The breakfast was good and tasty. The Rooms are well lit and bright. The area is quiet and we would be relaxed coming back after a hectic day during Moharram. I would definitely come back to stay here whenever I’m visiting Chennai.

Stinking garbage trolley near 4th Floor rooms/ill equipped kitchen to serve food during day time/non availability of small fridge (keeping in view the price range of rooms)/highly priced property.

The stay was enjoyable. The hotel is centrally located, yet in a quiet place. The rooms are compact and nicely maintained. There is an in-house restaurant which is good, though the food choices are limited. Only negative I want to record is that they do not allow outsiders to visit the rooms.
