I stayed at Raghunandan Residency recently, and overall, it was a very disappointing experience.
Pros:
The hotel staff were very polite and courteous throughout our stay. That’s the only positive we experienced.
Cons:
The room was not clean; there was fungus on the ceiling.
We encountered insects like centipedes falling from the AC and even lizards inside the room.
AC and geyser controls were not in our hands; we had to call the staff every single time to switch them on.
TV had no working channels.
No in-house catering — food was arranged from outside, and there was no tea or coffee service.
The biggest issue was the complete lack of mobile network inside the room. For two days, we couldn’t make or receive any calls, which was very inconvenient.
While we truly appreciated the polite behavior of the staff, the overall facilities, cleanliness, and comfort were far below expectations. Not recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in Puri.
