I had a good experience with Purple. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. My only suggestion is to reduce the food prices a little, as they seem a bit high for guests.

Excellent Stay
The receiptonist and other staffs are very friendly, clean rooms and bathrooms, TV and wifi are working fine. Food is also superb.

Good Stay
If you have a limited budget, I would definitely recommend Purple Orchid. It was nice and cosy stay in the midst of mountains. Will come back again!

Good! Great place for a weekend getaway in kodai.
Stay is good , but it's located kinda far from town. Reaching there is kinda tricky but the place is good. Food is available but you got to book in advance , gotta check the menu before ordering else will get hefty bill had that experience myaelf. But other than this overall a good stay for the price. Only cons is that rooms sheets were not clean when we got there.

the room and environment are proper & very neat & clean but the room is located so far from kodaikanal u not get any proper food or any small shop and the hotel food cost is really very very high 1lemon tea with ginger 80rs u hav no choice if u go by car or by bike its really worth if u go by any large vehicle like van or anything it's really tough once u check in then u not hav any idea to move the road is really tough and one more the room incharge dinesh & ragavan are really good are care taking to good

"The resort's access road is quite challenging, and the rooms are average. The residency is okay...there is no fan available in the room and room seems compact but the bed is okay...soaps are not available.this should be consider by the management otherwise the staffs are friendly..the trip is okay I'll give 7 out of 10.

The room I stayed in is good. But there is no remote and I could not watch TV. There is no entertainment. There was no power for the three days I stayed. Terrible Stay
The property is too far from centre with narrow access road. We have to await at reception for 30mins as there was none around when we arrived! When guy who came shown the room, it was not acceptable for the rate we paid, bed linen and pillow covers were stained and smelled bad, room felt too small. Toilet flush was not properly working. After seeing the rooms which were shown, we didn't check in eventhough we paid the complete rent in advance. Also reported with mmt for further action and refund, which is due!
