We took this property as it was supposed to be a luxury resort secluded, private and set amongst nature with great views. However, when we reached there we realised, the entire property is surrounded by a busy road. Most rooms dont have a good view and wr had to request two room viewings after our first night to find a decent room, as on check on we were given a room that was very old, had a boxed in view of overgrown shrubs, and extremely noisy from the road outside it. The new room had its own issue, with lawn mowing work being done constantly through our stay disturbing our sleep and we had to constantly request them to stop it. There is a big monkey problem on the property, you cant really be carefree in your room with an open window or balcony. There was a corporate conference going on for the two days we were there, the people from that conference occupied all the games area, and we weren’t able to enjoy it at app. Breakfast spread isn’t that great, and food we ordered was average. Staff are willing to listen and help but unable to do anything that properly addresses issues. For 20,000 per night, this was a horrible no value for money choice. I al not visiting again.

The place had a vibe from the word go.. they greeted us with chandan teek, warm hand towel and some honey lemon tea.. rooms were amazing, with temp control.. reception area had games and the restaurants were just amazing.. staff was very helpful and courteous.. overall a great place to stay

The Tamara , kodai was definitely a fun experience. It was on my bucket list for a really long time and finally I was able to execute it for my wedding anniversary. The hospitality and service was top notch. Lovely interiors and spacious rooms. Very amicable staff who were warm throughout our stay...the only suggestion is the food spread should be improved and more non vegetarian options can be added and they should stick to their activities daily which is scheduled for the day. Special mention to Josekutti , Arjun ( housekeeping) , nosiya ( spa) , solomon , Vishnu das ! They were very helpful and glad we met them.

The resort was definitely very nice & comfortable but nothing different in its class. The staff were very friendly. Mr. Ajay was the relationship manager & he was extremely courteous & helpful. Food was good. Mr. Selva was the chef for South Indian cuisine & his biriyani was impressive. There were very few, subtle things that could have been better but the overall experience was a perfect balance.

The resort is located near lake and its a great location. its a place meant for families. Rooms, food, activities everything was great. only one drawback is the rooms aren't sound proof and u hear lot of noise that can disturb ur sleep actually. otherwise a great place to explore but bit costly

Great location, good food , great service by the people. Could have had better showers for that price. Everything else was good .

Our stay at Tamara Kodai was simply phenomenal! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Their attentiveness and genuine warmth were truly exceptional. We especially loved the restaurant, La Providence, where the food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. Everything about our experience at Tamara was fantastic, and we can't wait to return!

checkin process took 20 minutes, overall good stay famliy friendly, not used pool but looks good. best if you could afford premium pricing
