The place had a vibe from the word go.. they greeted us with chandan teek, warm hand towel and some honey lemon tea.. rooms were amazing, with temp control.. reception area had games and the restaurants were just amazing.. staff was very helpful and courteous.. overall a great place to stay

The property itself is stunning – nestled in the misty hills of Kodaikanal, surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking views. The heritage charm of the restored 19th-century structure blends beautifully with modern amenities, offering a unique blend of history and luxury. Every corner of the resort is thoughtfully designed, and the attention to detail is commendable. Our suite was spacious, immaculately maintained, and elegantly furnished. The heated floors in the bathroom, plush bedding, and private balcony with panoramic views made our stay incredibly comfortable. Relaxing holiday.
Very relaxing stay. Great ambiance, pristine location , lovely spa and great food. Some staff are still raw and need finesse.

Kodaikanal escape!
The Tamara , kodai was definitely a fun experience. It was on my bucket list for a really long time and finally I was able to execute it for my wedding anniversary. The hospitality and service was top notch. Lovely interiors and spacious rooms. Very amicable staff who were warm throughout our stay...the only suggestion is the food spread should be improved and more non vegetarian options can be added and they should stick to their activities daily which is scheduled for the day. Special mention to Josekutti , Arjun ( housekeeping) , nosiya ( spa) , solomon , Vishnu das ! They were very helpful and glad we met them.

Good Stay
The resort was definitely very nice & comfortable but nothing different in its class. The staff were very friendly. Mr. Ajay was the relationship manager & he was extremely courteous & helpful. Food was good. Mr. Selva was the chef for South Indian cuisine & his biriyani was impressive. There were very few, subtle things that could have been better but the overall experience was a perfect balance.

Good Stay
The resort is located near lake and its a great location. its a place meant for families. Rooms, food, activities everything was great. only one drawback is the rooms aren't sound proof and u hear lot of noise that can disturb ur sleep actually. otherwise a great place to explore but bit costly

Beautiful experience and memory to carry home
We stayed in this property for 4 nights and made such beautiful memories here. The property is so beautiful and well maintained. The staff here were so courteous and ready to help. The amenities were luxurious. The valley view was spectacular. The food spread was amazing, with everything from grilled meats to fresh salads.

Our stay at Tamara Kodai was simply phenomenal! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. checkin process took 20 minutes, overall good stay famliy friendly, not used pool but looks good. best if you could afford premium pricing
