Best place to stay in kodaikanal. Far away from city, calm and quiet place. Beautiful scenery. Homely atmosphere. Must visit.

For this price the breakfast was very poor and even for dinner no good menu. Not enough toiletry, towels.

Excellent stay, romantic views, delightful food, respectful services and people, helpful people, very good compact rooms and wonderful coordination and followups. What do you need more? perfect place to stay long. May be food was looking little expensive and may add few more south indian menus to the existing items.

Location of the resort is awesome. Nature lovers will fall in love with this place. Staff limited friendly and humble(they don't speak local language- people who don't know hindi might find difficult to communicate with chef ) english manageable. Communicating roads is challenging with steep roads and multiple damages to road surface. This place is like enjoy nature, enjoy food (al cart e no buffet) and take rest.

The experience in this stay was so good that i couldnt wait to give them a glowing 5 star review. Xanadu is a class apart when it comes to hospitality and location. They're so underrated! the views are to die for from the garden view rooms. The staff is extremely courteous and the food is top notch. I would recommend this place 1000 times over any other place. Very well maintained property too. Away from the city but the city is just about 20 mins from here, so pretty accessible. The road is steep to the property so if youre confident with your hilly terrain driving skills please take your vehicle or else you get plenty of cab options from main city as well.

Stayed for 3 nights at xanadu birkenhead with a family of 3 kids. It's a beautiful location with very nice views, staff over there were very helpful and took good care of us. Special thanks to tilak, basant (chef) and manav. Breakfast was simple and good. On the flip side, approach to the facility is difficult, there are no cellular signals, size of the geyser in the bathrooms to b e increased as started getting cold water after some time of usage (in spite of giving 1 hr break, location of the towel stand is ergonomically not correct. Facility is extremely overpriced and office administrative staff are impolite and very business minded.

For everything they will. Nothing you will get on time. We need to ordrrthe dinner at 4 pm only. For breakfast also need to wait for long time.

It is one of the best places you can stay in kodaikanal. The rooms are very comfortable and well decorated. They have geyser, room heater, microwave and all other home amenities which makes you feel at home. The service is beyond expectations. The cook and the attendant made sure of our needs. They prepare a large variety of breakfast and you can even ask them if you have any priority. We had dosa, idli, sambaar, bread and eggs, fresh fruits and pratha as choices for us. If you are a pet lover then they have 4 doggos to keep you company who are very friendly. They would arrange bonfire and barbeque in extra charges and it's worth it. The location is the main attraction although you have to be a skilled driver to drive up through those steep lanes. I would say if you are trying to leave the hustle bustle of the city for 2 days of calm and peace here is where you should head for

Ordinary rooms, average service, except outside view, everything pretty ordinary. Over priced for the kind of ambiance and service provided.

Wonderful stay away from the crowded kodai town. Have beautiful views and very helpful staff. Bonus: there are some friendly dogs at the stay. Pet lovers would love them

I have been on a 9 day trip and stayed at 4 places and this was the absolute worst I have stayed. This place is so far off form any place in Kodaikanal and the road so treacherous that it will wear the clutch and tyres of your car badly. Once you reach this place you cannot go anywhere else till you check out. I understand such a location makes sense if you are going to place at outskirts of a city, but with Kodaikanal having so many places to see, no point staying here. Also, I was changed ₹2,500/- extra for bed despite paying for 3 people at the time of booking, no other place does this.

Good place for a family vacation, felt like home, food was tasty and freshly prepared. Location is uphill from kodai town, extremely cold weather, need to carry sweaters and blankets along.

Xanadu meghadootam is a beautiful property. It’s a little outside the city, so you will need to engage a driver to take you around kodaikanal. The property itself is a collection of old villas. The rooms are great and the view is breathtaking. Mr. Shakthi (the caretaker) and his staff is very warm and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again if i come back to kodaikanal.

The place is simply amazing. The property is very well maintained. The food was good too, didn’t feel like a usual resort since the food was served to a personal dining room. Xanadu meghadhootam in kodaikanal is a wonderful retreat. It's peaceful, away from the town's noise, but still close enough for convenience. The rooms are comfy and the view is stunning. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and make amazing local food. The surrounding nature is a treat to explore. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful kodaikanal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay. I can't wait to go back.
