We recently stayed at Moon Homestay in Munnar as a group of 8 for 3 days, and it was truly a memorable experience. George and Mini were wonderful hosts – very friendly, kind-hearted, and they served us authentic Kerala-style breakfast every morning with great care. Their hospitality made us feel at home. The rooms and facilities were excellent. The homestay has 2 spacious master bedrooms with attached washrooms, hot water, balconies, and TVs. There is also a separate kitchen where guests can cook their own meals, which was very convenient. The hall has comfortable sofas for relaxing, and at the entrance there is a diwan cot that adds to the homely feel. Everything was maintained neatly and provided us with great comfort. In terms of location, the homestay is a little away from the main attractions of Munnar. However, that did not disappoint us at all, because the route itself is filled with natural scenic beauty. Travelling to the tourist spots gave us the chance to enjoy breathtaking views, which more than compensated for the distance. Overall, the stay was safe, secure, and peaceful. I would definitely recommend Moon Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place with genuine hospitality in Munnar.

Place and room was clean..food was simple and tasty.

Very neat and clean room and bathroom with all basic amenities and you also have access to the hall, kitchen and an outdoor area. You can make tea, coffee or your own food in the kitchen if you wish. The owner and family are very friendly and helpful. You will also get a decent complementary breakfast. If you are looking for a calm and quiet stay with beautiful surroundings in he Rajakumari/Poopara area in Idukki, definitely you can definitely book the Moon homestay.
