I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the unique atmosphere at to lakhamana desert camp, and i wanted to share my thoughts on the stay. *pros*
the cultural activities, bonfire gatherings, camel rides, and the initial impression of the desert tent truly made my stay memorable. The staff's customer service was impeccable, demonstrating genuine care for the guests throughout. *cons*
one aspect that left a slight blemish on an otherwise delightful experience was the insistence by the camel safari person to pay an additional 500 rs tip, even after a generous 200 rs tip. It seemed to conflict with the inclusive nature of the package. Furthermore, it was disheartening to learn that the camel had not eaten since morning. I urge the owners to take measures to ensure the well-being of these animals. On the accommodation front, considering the substantial cost of 12, 000 rs, i expected certain amenities like wi-fi or a heater in the room, especially given the chilly nights. Additionally, the absence of a water heating flask or coffee packets in the room was surprising, as even 3-star properties commonly offer these conveniences. In conclusion, while the camp offered an enriching cultural experience and excellent customer service, addressing these concerns could elevate the overall guest satisfaction and align the experience with the premium price point.
