Himmatgarh Palace - Heritage Boutique Hotel

My stay at Himmatgarh Palace in Jaisalmer was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort, offering helpful recommendations and prompt service throughout our stay. The rooms were impressively spacious, blending traditional Rajasthani architecture with modern comforts. One of the highlights was the stunning view from our room: the majestic Jaisalmer Fort, also known as the Golden Fort, looked absolutely magical, especially when bathed in the golden hues of the morning sun. Waking up to that view felt like stepping into a royal past. Another standout feature was the sunset point on the property. Perched in a tranquil spot, it offered panoramic views of the desert skyline. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, casting warm colors across the sand and fort, was truly unforgettable. The overall ambiance of Himmatgarh Palace is peaceful and regal—perfect for those wanting a serene escape with a touch of heritage. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a returning traveler, this place makes you feel at home while treating you like royalty. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

Very stinky and unclean room. Hospitality is also average. No food on time and services are also average.

The property is very good, but due to the off season it's not maintained and the service and cleanliness is also average.

It was my bad experience while staying in this hotel with no intercom, no WI FI, No AC maintenance, third class food quality, no refrigerator facility in room and found alcoholic bottles in room, no clearness in bathroom .

it's very beautiful surrounded place to stay. very co operative staff. Specially at reception Gajendraji, Sang singhji, Raviji. all staff very humble and co operative.

Had stayed at cottage for 2 nights. Not so good : very dirty washrooms in supposedly the best rooms available here (cockroaches, old styled fitments etc). Breakfast starts at 830am and dinner at 830-9pm - real problem if you have kids. Buffet spread is very limited and food quality average. Owner is humble, rest of the staff is not. Only good thing is ample parking space and open area. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Staff is very cooperative, breakfast serve to us is delicious. Rooms are clean and big..., sunrise is beautiful from the pool side.Highly recommend for the family travelers

Rooms are not at all maitained in the property. Filthy bathroom, poor quality of towels used, bedding wad also not up to the mark. As per the cost of a single day the service is not good. Even we had to request for hot water 3 times. Water is very salty one would not even like to use the water from the taps even for bathing. Overall our worst experience. Would never like to visit again to this property.

Food is delicious, rooms given to us is near to poll area and big enough to accommodate three person in one room, staff is very helpful and give us the item art with which we are able to cover entire Jaisalmer and surroundings.... Sunrise from the room is mesmerising

I have visited Jaisalmer multiple times, but this was my first stay at this property. Overall, I am very satisfied with the experience. The location is excellent, the food is delightful, and the sunset views are stunning. Additionally, the property owner and staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
