Poor Stay
There is nothing so good in tents. Only 3 family in whole tao camp. Food is also not good. Its feel like we are in jungle all alone.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly value your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your visit did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the tent experience and food. At Lakhmana Desert Camp, we aim to offer a peaceful and authentic desert retreat – away from the city crowds – where guests can enjoy the raw beauty of nature, starry skies, and traditional Rajasthani hospitality. While the quiet atmosphere you experienced reflects the offbeat charm many travelers come here to find, we do understand it may feel a bit too serene for some. Your comments about food and facilities have been shared with our team, and we are actively working to enhance every aspect of the guest experience. We truly appreciate your feedback, and we hope you'll give us another opportunity to welcome you with improved offerings, livelier ambiance, and the exceptional desert hospitality we are known for. Blend of culture and comfort a
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the unique atmosphere at to lakhamana desert camp, and i wanted to share my thoughts on the stay. *pros* the cultural activities, bonfire gatherings, camel rides, and the initial impression of the desert tent truly made my stay memorable. The staff's customer service was impeccable, demonstrating genuine care for the guests throughout. *cons* one aspect that left a slight blemish on an otherwise delightful experience was the insistence by the camel safari person to pay an additional 500 rs tip, even after a generous 200 rs tip. It seemed to conflict with the inclusive nature of the package. Furthermore, it was disheartening to learn that the camel had not eaten since morning. I urge the owners to take measures to ensure the well-being of these animals. On the accommodation front, considering the substantial cost of 12, 000 rs, i expected certain amenities like wi-fi or a heater in the room, especially given the chilly nights. Additionally, the absence of a water heating flask or coffee packets in the room was surprising, as even 3-star properties commonly offer these conveniences. In conclusion, while the camp offered an enriching cultural experience and excellent customer service, addressing these concerns could elevate the overall guest satisfaction and align the experience with the premium price point. Best regards, ananth

Overrated
Very average. Had to stand for a long time just for a camel ride. Food is subpar, it is mentioned in the description that non veg food is allowed, but no its not, purely veg. Rooms are all right, but there were some electricity problems. Not value for money, rather overrated in my opinion. You can get better camps for a cheaper price.

Overall experience was ok
The food was good; tents were also good but the washroom was not clean, wash towels provided were not clean and the folk dance was also average

Bad time for star gazing
The property is away from seam dunes and has a good view of horizon. They have a private area of dunes near by for activities and do arrange for star gazing, but you require your own equipment. The tourists season around new year is not a right time. All camps are using cheap flood lights for lighting and lot of bulbs to light the living areas. The glow in sky is perceptible and only central area is clear. It is unfortunate that the commercial activities have destroyed one of the spectacular area for star gazing. Maybe summer time is better due to few tourists.

A sweet desert experience
I had a wonderful desert stay in this camp. I visited with my family during 10-11 Nov. We received all modern facilities including AC, hot and cold water. The hotel arranged for camel safari in nearby sand dunes in the afternoon. After returning back we had high tea. It was followed by a nice cultural evening full of traditional folk song and dance. At last we had dinner. Food was good and we had many items. The morning in the camp was sweet and sighing, as if wrapped by gold cover.

The best Desert experience.
This place has their own sand dunes and a variety of exciting adventure activities. We tried their quad bike safari on the dunes and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The tents are very well maintained and there are small things like branded toiletries etc that the management has taken care of. The camp has a lush garden and their cultural program was excellent. The staff is very courteous and helpful, even at night. If you're going to the Sam Desert, this is the place to stay.
Room: Luxury Mud Hut
Enjoyable stay!
We booked an ac swiss tent and it was a good one. This place has a lot of activities to do and they also have performances in the evening. They give you free camel ride for sunset or sunrise. So overall a very nice experience, but just an advice as I went there in march end, so that was not a season to stay in Desert as it was quiet warm. Prefer going till february end because after that it get really hot.
As it was a swiss tent so whatever was available, it was fine.
