It's conveniently situated right next to the beauty of nature and features a truly clean and inviting environment. Just be aware that KTDC itself does not allow entry after 5.30 PM.

Beautiful location, clean property, but food definitely needs improvement.

Check-in experience: It was good and they arranged boat ride for next morning. Room: Pathetic, smelly, dark, especially room 205 window view was dirty. Can’t open door as no measures are taken to avoid monkeys. Food: pathetic tasteless and deal breaker. Also you cannot go out. They have best opportunity to serve food as all guest will eat. But they make it as a punishment. We chekedout first morning even though we had booking for two days.

excellent food, excellent staff. The staff is really helpful, polite and courteous. The food is delicious too. only problem is you can't go out of the lodge after 5:30PM. Neat and clean rooms.

The ambiance of the property is superb . Hospitality is good . Neat and clean rooms . Food is good . Staffs are supportive.

A very good place to stay in a calm and quiet jungle area disconnected from the routine life. The staff in the restaurant as well as the house-keeping staff have been very prompt, helpful and friendly. Food - don't have to worry about the quality and quality, really good and want to thank all the staff members 🙏 for making our stay so pleasant and enjoyable. The only constraint is that one has to get inside the park within 5pm and that restricts from doing any of the evening activity. Rest all is good!

KTDC Periyar House is nestled in a breathtaking location, surrounded by lush greenery that feels like being in a jungle! The staff, particularly Mr. Binni and Mr. Jitin, are extremely helpful and accommodating. Lalkrishna at the restaurant always greets with a smile and provides excellent service. As a night owl, you'll spot various wildlife, including deer and porcupines. The atmosphere is fantastic. Network connectivity is very low. Wifi can be better

We just felt like staying in nature’s lap. Only thing to be noted you have to be in the property before 5 : 30 Pm. As wild animals start movements.

very good stay has clean room and wash room,excellent surrounding located in prestine surrounding of Periyar forest. We stayed here for 2 nights..saw more animals and birds near the stay than we saw in Boat Safari.

location is just fantastic. rooms are also great. But be careful from the monkeys. They come inside the room if doors or windows are open. Service is good. overall a very good experience.
