I recently had an extremely disappointing 2 nights stay at Konfudha’s hut room despite paying 2.5k per night and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid a similar fate. Firstly, the room was shockingly small. It felt more like a cramped storage closet than a hotel room. There was barely any space to move around, making the stay very uncomfortable. Only small open space at entrance of room, where one small closed wardrobe is kept, then stairs to a place where matress was kept. Everything is closed in the room, no windows that you can leave open. Only noisy fan. Nothing else. Secondly, on 1st day of stay with heavy rain terrace started leaking. Every time it rained, water seeped in. Room is made up of wood and some kind of asbestos sheets, which makes room feel very cold in night and very hot during day. It feels terribly hot with fan. The bathroom was another major issue. It stank horribly, likely due to its wooden construction, which seemed to have absorbed years of moisture and mildew. The unpleasant odor was overwhelming and made using the bathroom an unbearable experience. Moreover, the room lacked very basic amenities. There wasn’t even a dressing mirror or a small chair to sit on and no TV. It felt like the bare minimum effort had been made to furnish the room. Honestly, it felt more like an outhouse of a servant's quarters in a big villa, rather than a proper hotel room. Overall, my stay at Konfudha was terrible and far below any reasonable standard. The room was uncomfortable, poorly maintained, and lacked basic facilities. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere for a more comfortable and pleasant stay. There is a big pool and some kids pool, swing etc. Some place in property to move around with a view to mountains, other than that there is nothing positive. Other type of rooms, which I don’t know and I can’t comment, how they are maintained
