    it was an average stay. Food in the attached restaurant sumukha kitchen was pathetic as the whole family suffered food poisoning after having dinner on the last day of our stay. I don't recommend this hotel for the purpose of serving low quality food.

    MakeMyTrip suggested this property for family accommodation (3 Adults + 1 Kid), Room was very small and there was no space to put an extra bed. Food at the restaurant was average and not worth the price. Hot water was not available in bathroom. Lift can’t accommodate more than 2 people and was not working most of the time. MMT charged for this hotel which is not even worthy Overall a bad stay and not worth the amount paid.

    Ooty was quite crowded over the weekend, and we struggled to find proper accommodation. Fortunately, we got lucky and found a room at Silver Oak Resort. The property was well maintained, and we booked a twin-bedroom, which was quite decent. The best feature was the availability of 24x7 hot water — a real blessing, considering how cold Ooty can be. The room quality was good overall. I interacted with the front desk staff, particularly a gentleman named Shankar, who was extremely helpful. He provided clear guidance on how to travel back to Bangalore. The check-in process was seamless, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The resort had both vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants. The vegetarian options were good, though the taste could have been better. That said, the dining areas were well maintained, and the service was commendable. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at Silver Oak Resort.

    Photos and actual room provided are not matching.

    1) I have booked the deluxe room based on the photos shown in the MakeMyTrip app. But the actual room provided is not matching the room photos shown in the app. 2) The receptionist said the photos shown are related cottages not the deluxe room. I don't know who to blame for this. 3) There was no hot water once checked in the hotel as there was maintenance work going on. And they said to wait for 20 mins so that they can provide a bucket of hot water. However we waited for 2 hours for a bucket of hot water. That too in Ooty kind of places it will be very difficult if we don't have hot water. This wasted our precious 2 hours of time and we weren't able to cover the places as planned. 4) And there was no option in customer support call to inform that the actual room provided is not matching to the photos shown in the app.
