I booked this hotel online and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience, especially considering the price, which was way overpriced for the quality of the stay.
Major Issue: Hidden Parking Fee
The most part was the parking situation. The hotel does not have its own parking. We were to park at the railway station and pay ₹100 for 24 hours. This essential information was not disclosed anywhere during the online booking process. When I questioned them, they agreed to reimburse the fee, but if I hadn't brought it up, they wouldn't have offered—this is poor customer practice and feels like a , hidden cost.
Unprofessional Staff & Rude Owner
There were two young men at the reception. One of them, who identified himself as the owner, was rude and unprofessional. Customer service was clearly lacking, and this attitude significantly detracted from the experience.
Unacceptable Room Maintenance
While the room was clean, the functional condition was unacceptable:
No Quality Check: It was evident that no one from the staff had checked the room before our arrival. They did not come to the room to ensure everything was working, which is a basic step that should be taken to guarantee guest comfort.
Lighting Failure: Out of four ceiling light bulbs, only one was working, leaving the entire room extremely dim.
Non-Functional TV: The television did not work at all; it displayed nothing but a constant blue screen.
Bathroom: The bathroom was okay, but the floor felt noticeably sticky.
Conclusion
Between the hidden charges, the rudeness of the owner/staff, and the major maintenance failures (lights and TV) that should have been fixed before check-in, I cannot recommend this hotel. The numerous issues made the stay , and the price is simply not fair for the lack of quality and service provided.
