Udaya Ayurveda Resort

We are from Erode, TamilNadu.. We arrived at the Udaya Ayurveda Resort in Palakkad on the 6th of November to celebrate our son's birthday. The natural, calm ambience with a plethora of little birds and pets including geese, guinea fowls and rabbits add to the serene environment. The staff and management are very flexible and the food is great. It's a fairly busy place for private functions too but we enjoyed their pool and peaceful nature. It's an ideal place to come as a family with children. Thank you!

Property location is river view resort but now they have made blockage to that view due to their daily basis functions and food quality has to be improved overall stay is calm as the location is superb but they need to remove the blockage view of river from rooms

Extraordinary ambience and the swimming pool was well maintained and the surrounding is very peaceful even though the resort is present amidst the centre of city

Verdict: Average Pros- - Nice location. Close to town, yet calm. Close to river - Friendly and courteous staff - Big room size - Different room options - Some animals and birds are there - They permit receiving food from swiggy and zomato Cons- - Very limited options for breakfast - can't even call it spread (we got only idly and dosa with sambar, they informed we will have to wait some more time to get chutney. But we didn't get that till we finished eating) - TV was not working in our room. When we asked the reception, they informed that they can't do anything as problem is with cable operator. We couldn't watch TV for the 2 nights and 3 days we stayed. At the same time it was available in neighboring rooms. - Water used to stop several times everyday, and we had to call and inform the reception to restart it. And there was no intercom phones in the rooms. - No kids pool and poorly maintained kids play area

poor service , over priced , under maintenance, no cleanliness. don't book pool villa it's horrible. my kid got injured with broken glass piece. it's a horrible stay. not recommended

I really liked the location of Udaya Resort.The swimming pool and rest area next to the river were very beautiful.I really liked the mud house there, it's done in a very traditional way.The food there was delicious.All the staff there are well behaved.A very good place to spend time with family and friends.

It was nice short trip enjoyed.

Not worth on that price in this hotel......waste money..waste money.....worst hotel.....waste money...

Location is good, ambiens is very good, but food is average and rooms lack facilities

I had a pathetic experience there..i took the stay at resort as i had to attend a receptiona t the same venue..first of all a/c in the room was not working and it was so hot and humid climate there.. most of the door locks are either broken or damaged, no intercom or telephone to connect someone at the reception. Curtains were so old and untidy. Pillows were dirty..Balcony doors were without locks..in my entire life i haven’t visit such a pathetic resort..

Stayed in Deluxe room with family (my wife, kid and I). Udaya is at best a lodge and not a professional setup. Most of the amenities promised by makemytrip as part of the room are not there. Please note, there is no mini fridge or ironing board in the deluxe room, though MMT mentions them as inclusions. Contrary to what is mentioned in the mmt site, the restaurant has no global fare or detox diet. Breakfast is basic. The room has a stink. The pool is open to general public (not just guests even outsiders), so we avoided it owing to the crowd. The good part is the river flowing next to the property and behavior of some of the staff members. Nandu and Srijit at the front desk and the lady at the restaurant come to mind. They were more than keen to help. Suresh the manager listened to my complaints but i don't think it will help the property to improve. Is Udaya value for money? Not at all, for the price they charge and the amenities they failed to provide.

Good place. good ambience. river side.good swimming pool and good staff. Only 3 km away from town. Calm and quite place

Booked 3 pax room, only 1 bottle of water. When asked said the complimentary is only 1 bottle. Pretty cheap

The room and washroom are neat but foul smell in room, locks of the bathroom and main door are not in good condition. Once bathroom is locked from inside and cannot be opened from inside and is only possible to be opened from the outside. The flush of the closet not working properly. Outer pipe of air conditioner is given in bathroom.

Good room and conditions. But i reached the resort they arranged receiptation function for outside parties. I will not expected bcz i will go with my family so they are not paying to that evening time. So any one booked once clarify to resort any function booking or not. Otherwise property so good. And one more thing swimming pool is daily outside students training going for morning 6am to 6 pm. My child bathing not comfortable.

Stay was excellent environment is wonderful loved the stay z next time sure to stay in this resort only

They tell breakfast is free, i order omelet t they charged for that. No landline number, ac is not working at all
