good comfortable stay in an old house , the host was so friendly and food also really good home-made

I was very excited to be staying at an almost 100 year old house in shillong. The old structure had so much character and was beautiful. I love that they retained the best parts about the house. The hotel owners and people were very nice and sweet and helpful. My only issue was that, the property - rooms, toilets etc, were not that well maintained. No cleaning up was done during our stay. No toiletries were provided, apart from a towel. The washroom needs to be maintained better and breakfast options were very basic. For 3k+ a night paid on mmt, i expected more hospitality to be honest. I'd pay at most 1. 7-2k per night for a stay like this.

Tranquil stay, situated in quiet spot of the city. All basic facilities available. Home cooked simple food.

The hotel's area and surroundings are the best in the whole city. The caretaker was also good. Overall a good experience

Hill top hotel amazed with surrounding natural greenary with ample facilitate rooms in nominal rates. Property owner highly courteous and guests caring staff manna always helps with his smile face. Delicious food services also available that we enjoyed very much. Cab services also available through hotel without any extra charges for it. Overall stay was a great experience we enjoyed and given 5* to this hotel.
