A Pleasant Stay with Great Service, but Pricey for a Homestay
I recently stayed at this homestay and had a generally enjoyable experience. The "service was excellent", with the staff being attentive and accommodating throughout my stay. The "breakfast was delightful", offering a good variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The **rooms were average**—comfortable enough but nothing exceptional. While they were clean and functional, they lacked the charm or amenities that would set them apart. The biggest advantage of this homestay is its **prime location**, situated conveniently near a well-known hospital and the US consulate, making it an excellent choice for visitors needing easy access to these places. However, the **pricing felt steep** for a homestay, particularly given the modest quality of the rooms. While the service and food certainly enhanced the experience, the cost seemed better suited to a more upscale property. Overall, despite the higher price point, I had a **pleasant stay** thanks to the warm hospitality and great location. If service and accessibility are your priorities, this could be a solid option—just be prepared for premium pricing.

Size of room is good. Food was good. Floor was clean but curtains were dusty. Over all stay was average and not worthy of paying 4000 rupees.

Bad aircon & overall amenities for the amount paid
Bad ac & amenities. Expected much better services for the price tag. Although the staff was ok, the management should look into upgrading the amenities

Excellent Stay
I could not reach on time and stay here due to weather condition prevailing at that time hampering few flights scheduled. However hotel authority contacted me and enquired about my arrival time. Since it was not possible to reach chennai with in the specified period, i consented hotel authority to allow the room for other guests instead keeping reserved for me for 2 days. I hope staybl at this hotel would be comfortable and look forward for next earliest opportunity. Thanks

familyThe property is well located as it is very near to apollo hospital. The surrounding roads are always water logged. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staffs are very well behaved. The buffet breakfast menu is okay. The ambience of the hotel is nice.

Wallace garden location experience ha-nu reddy residences
familyIt was a good staybas usual with ha-nu reddy residences. I would like to call out the upkeep of basic facilities like the toiletries before providing a room to a customer. This was a let down on the location specifically. Otherwise, it was a good experience

familyCentrally located near apollo hospital and k&k road it's a very accessible place. The property is very well maintained and managed. The guest relationship manager ranjan was a very good host and gave good recommendations and took care of us. Even though the property is quite an old property it has been maintained very well. The roof top terrace and the sitting area on 1st floor adds to the overall warmth. Breakfast spread was excellent with home cooked food and taste. Overall an excellent place to stay. Yes don't forget to see and read the book with photographs taken by ha-nu r eddy and his inspiring quotes

Old place needs a major renovation
The rooms are small and washroom is old and with stains and definitely not close to any star level rating. The service and food was decent.

soloNot honored value to cost. Nothing changes to the interior, poor maintenance, even very old bedsheets etc. Not professionally up to the mark. Good that i've seen lots of options with lesser cost with very much better amenities. If they do not change themselves with time, just publicity or marketing never work in days forward.
