The hotel is in a good location with all good restaurants and express avenue mall near it so that was a big plus. Room was decent. Bed seemed to be small and not king sized even though we booked for a king sized bed. I spoke to the receptionist about it and they argued that it was king sized. The bathroom was congested and small. And there were insects in the room also. Overall, it’s okay. Not too bad, but definitely not too good either.

hotel is not worthy of the 4 star rating. Average rooms, not so great food and unfriendly staff. not sure how the hotel is sustaining. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone traveling to Chennai.

Bathroom and Gym not maintained properly

Room was good but the Bathroom with tub I had a very bad experience. The shower diverter which was installed in the bathroom there was issue with the diverter and the water was flowing from both the shower as well as spout and I complained the management about it and they were least bothered. And I came to know in every room they have a similar diverter in that case there is 1000’s of litres of water being everyday in this hotel . The Zym had 3 Treadmills and 2 where out of order with a sticker mentioned on it and there is no much equipment also in the Zym.

Very disappointing experience. The room had a foul smell that made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The food was below average, lacked taste and freshness. Definitely not worth the money. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

this was my first time staying in a hotel, and the experience was really memorable. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and the food was far better than I expected. What made it truly special was the staff. A big thank-you to Rohana and Nabanita—they treated me more like family than a guest. Disappointed with Service and Response Time I recently stayed at The Pride Hotel, Chennai, and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The biggest issue was the lack of proper service — staff responses were very delayed, and even simple requests took a long time to be attended to. While the property itself is decent and the location is convenient, the service quality did not meet expectations for a hotel in this category. A bit more attentiveness and quicker response from the team would have made the stay much more pleasant.

The facilities shown was not the actual we got. The washroom is so congested and not even have a space to breath. the rooms need maintenance and looks like old one. the breakfast was terrible to eat. I made a complaint for making the stay for one day, but still not got a satisfactory resolution

Not worth for the money | Hygiene concerns

I initially booked a Deluxe Room with a King-size bed, but was instead graciously offered a Standard Room with twin beds—because clearly, "Deluxe" and "Standard" must mean the same thing here. When I raised this with the receptionist, I was informed (rather nonchalantly) that rooms are subject to availability. Fair enough—except I was also assured that I’d be moved to the correct room the following day. Spoiler alert: that didn’t happen either. As if the downgrade wasn’t enough, the hygiene standards were equally impressive—in the worst possible way. The washroom was dusty on arrival and, despite expectations, remained that way well into the second day. One can only wonder if there’s a floor supervisor on duty—or if that’s just another mythical position like “Deluxe Room with King Bed.” To put it mildly, the experience fell significantly short of what one would expect at the price they’re charging. If you're looking to pay premium rates for subpar service and dusty washrooms, this might just be your place.
