The caretaker was very helpful and co-operative. The rooms and the cleanliness were well maintained there. The location was the biggest problem there. It is located in a remote area and even mobile networks were not working there.

Hotel stay was nice, hotel service was good.

There is no food provided in the hotel, we need to have it outside. Room cost is too high and we don't have WiFi and hot water all times. It's better you can take a room there once you reach Matheran station because there are ample amount of rooms around hill station.
Room is quite clean but they money we spend for a day is too high. In Matheran we are getting same room with extra services like WiFi and hot water for charged but this one charged too much without WiFi and hot water. Matheran is a place where we don't get mobile network and WiFi is mandate but we didn't get that service.

Overall it was good, the owner was very cooperative and was available whenever we needed him.

Stay was really pathetic. Spoiled the overall experience of Matheran. Smelly bed sheets. No room cleaning, no working of geyser, bad jet spray, less water in bathroom, at time overflows of the water. Had to wait outside one night for almost 45 minute and screamed and shouted to open the door in the middle of night. No one to attend. Television with no functions and no channels.
We were stocked outside the hotel while returning back from having dinner at night. We had no one to attend the door bell. Me and my wife waited for almost 45 minutes outside the hotel in dark and in cold and she got severe stomach pain too. Also we had constant random guest knocking the door, also the bathroom had water overflows as the caretaker forgot to shut the water motor. We faced lot of noise issue from surroundings.

Location good but hotel location stay not satisfied.
Location not good. Power connectivity, fan etc not properly working.

Room was very clean. Space was good. Location is very close to market and room service was nice and i hope next time stay in this cottage.
