Matheran Green Field Resorts

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and professional. However, the room could have been cleaner - I noticed a bit of dust and untidiness. The hotel's location is a big plus - it's in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxation. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for its great food and excellent service

property located in side the forest, have to walk around 100 mtr from main road property seems to be old, maintenance almost . However food quality was good at reasonable cost. overall staff was good & co operative.

I found this property from MMT, the property is good and Nestled in nature, It is hard to find via Gmap, bcoz there are hardly any signboard available about exact location of property, you have to contact to property for this... Food quality was average with minimal options, Note (Those who are interested in Egg items in breakfast) There was no Egg items included. we have to order it separately and that are chargeable evenif complementary breakfast included in your package. Also there was minimal option available for breakfast.. (you can book rooms without breakfast also) Overall service was good but it can be improved..

Difficulty finding place since there was no board to give directions and it is far from main road.

resort entry road very hard with stones.., difficult to walk. resort is around 2 km distance. no vehicles. we must walk. Room floor is always wet conditions. not designed as per rainy atmosphere. complimentary breakfast quality is very poor.

Great location. Good room. Need better cleaning and maintenance. The bathroom doors didn’t have locks, and there was water leakage from the ceiling. Also, the AC didn’t work. The staff is polite and helpful.

Too much of an electricity problem, with this price rate we expect a hotel equipped with an inverter or generator. At least a single light of room and wifi should have connection with invertor

I had a wonderful stay at Green Field Resort. The atmosphere was really peaceful and refreshing—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was nice and satisfying. The only thing I wished for was a DJ party or some evening entertainment to make the nights more lively. Overall, a great experience and I’d love to visit again!

resort is ok . good for silent environment lover....... but t food is in bad quality.. not upto mark

This place I visited in 2021 and had so much fun and as a result I booked it again but the place is under maintained to the extend of poorly maintained. The outside dining area is occupied by stray dogs and inside you see cats creating nuisance. Still I would recommend the place for warm service and the upgrade that they gave me in accommodation.

Room was average like low cost hotels, nowhere near to three stars. No guards , no security. All staff leave at 10.00 no one at resorption. Extremely unsafe place. No connectivity for mobile phones to call for help in need. Food is not good. Service is very unprofessional. Three people managing from reception & kitchen . No cleaning of compound. Manager is doing his best but unable to do because of no staff. Dining hall is not maintained. No access road, transport one has to walk without any street lights.

The service was poor and staff were unresponsive. What we saw in the pictures was completely different from what we actually got. The rooms and amenities did not meet expectations at all. Also resort is very far from market area so need to walk so much.

The property makes us feel that we are living in a nearby jungle. Literally it feels like where we are. Such an amazing experience for staying in this property

Only visit if u r ok we insects around. The property location is very beautiful only issue is the insects after dark. The housekeeping helper name badri is really good and helping. we had good experience . Food is okay okay. Service is good. Amenities should be improved and cleanliness should also be improved
