Hotel Royal Matheran location very good , facilities in the property good food and service average . Overall good stay.

Old & dirty rooms, alsocharges were way too high than actual counter .. If you are paying for a room u expect it to be clean,u should get soap for basin.Also common areas of hotel should get renovated now.old tiles,old colour gives u feel that u were better stay home than being here.game zone had two chess boards & lot of dirt u enjoy..All they show is pool view in photos.when asked to clean pool in morning one guy came and cleaned for one minute & vanished.Also they ran of water for one hour & warm water is available for limited time..

There is a good place to stay with limited services. Also amenities are good.

Location is little far from main market of matheran and the DJ is available only for Saturday and Sunday. Staff is not that active. We have asked them multiple times to fix the TV but they ignored. And TV has only typical cable shows its not smart tv and they don't offer netflix subscription or youtube access etc like other hotels. Swiming pool is good. Game zone is very dirty

Food was very good, however room service was bad, I had called for tv remote at 3 pm, but after multiple followups got it at 8 pm. There was frog in. bathroom inside commode.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The overall hygiene was extremely poor – the rooms and bathrooms were not well-maintained and lacked basic cleanliness. The services were equally unsatisfactory, with staff showing little attentiveness or willingness to assist. The hotel had advertised a geyser/water heater facility, but there was no such provision in the room. Hot water was only available during specific restricted timings, which caused a lot of inconvenience, especially in the mornings. For a property that promotes itself as offering comfort and amenities, this was highly misleading.

First of all, the location given from Make my trip was totally wroung, we wasted almost more than 3 hours and my fuel in searching the location given MMT. Somehow by asking many people, we reached to the location. secondly, the room quality was pathetic, the bedsheets, pillow and blankets were all dirty, when I contacted the hotel supervisor he was adamant not to change anything and created a ruckus in the hotel, somehow after lot of insistence this was changed. Food quality was bad and was totally unhygienic. Would urge MMT to Refund me the money for this hotel as I wasted lot of money unnecessary on booking this hotel

The hotel is far away from the rikshaw stand we need to walk lats to reach the hotel and rooms are not like as good as we expected its average rooms food is good staf also good overall hotel also good but rooms are not good there is fall slap in my room so its not looks like a hotel room its look like a some chawl room also there is no telephone in room to communicate with room staf or order some thing we have to go every time to the counter to buy the water botel .

We went as a couple mainly due to fact that it was a couple friendly on maketrip. They gave us room where AC was not working after 3 reminders they fixed AC. The staff was unprofessional and lack basic attequette. The room was not smelling good. Overall I will not recommend this hotel to professional people.

I stay in royal hotel and service is not up to the mark, and service staff behaviour are very rood. If we asking anything related to service then directly denied . Electricity power issue. No cleaning. Dogs driving water directly from swimming pool

Ac doesn't worked whole time and they didn't even given me some refund amount as they already mentioned that if the Ac is not working you will get 200rs per day refund. Overall a worst experiance
