Hilltone Bungalow & Villa Resort Matheran

- Room was smelling - ⁠there were frequent power cuts survived on generator with bare minimum power outputs. - ⁠Unhygienic - ⁠Isolated location - ⁠Prices were too much as compared to what was offered - ⁠Washroom of 1 room didn’t have light - no bulb 💡 plus the roof was leaking - ⁠Overall a terrible experience - ⁠Looking for a refund

Terrible place among the forest. Power off many times, dirty rooms, beds, toilet. Its feels like chawl system rooms served to the customers. Room is different as compared to online gallery pictures I saw.

Me and my wife had terrible experience of stay at this Hotel. It's location is very far from the market. Only 2 guys in hotel staff who manage everything as cleaning, reception, Restaurant. Room was very small with no amenities. Room washroom was terrible, All taps were have leak sounds, water clogging. Swimming pool was the comedy with size of 3X3 meters. This hotel has faked its name as some luxury hotel "Hilltone bunglaw" and copied name of Panorama hotel to attract customers. I fact it was a bunch of huts. There was comedy in name of new year celebration in which nothing happened just 1 disco light with mobile connected speaker😂😂 Recommend that Noone should ever stay in this bad place.

Property location was in interior part of matheran as claimed in prime location. Food served in property was very nice. Bathroom was in terrible condition. Room was ok.

500 metres from the station in the middle of the jungle enjoy 100% nature. all staff members are polite

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is travel-ling to matheran with family. Unhygienic rooms. Worst rooms i have ever seen. Toilets are not in a good shape no showers. There is no proper path towards the hotels. The only good part in the hotel was the support staff, they were very helpful.

The staff was good, food was good, location is good, nearby sunset point, overall good experience.

The way to this property found some scary after 7 pm, as it's total forest area and no lights on that way, moreover 2 frogs found in my room, n one of them is in my bed 😱.But property manager Kiran is good,they allowed us 1-2 hrs late check out , thank you for that

Property is very old, very far from market place, no electricity, and after booking from mm t property owner asks for exrta payment. Please don’t book this. Strongly suggesting peoples please don’t book this property.

The location was good but services and hygiene was extremely poor. There was leakage from the ceiling during monsoon. Very dirty and unhygienic rooms. Will never recommend anyone here

Outside furniture and the kids playing area should be cleaned. There are indoor games mentioned but few were completely missing and rest is not in playing condition. No food facility in resort and too much extra charges for tea/coffee and water bottle.

Nice villa, spacious but it's in very dense jungle. After 7-7. 30. It's. Pitch dark and mostly one will be fearful. If he she wants to roam around

The property location is too far from the station and the market place, the location shown at the time of booking was different also there was no food available at the hotel and every time i used to travel for food and for the other essential things. Rooms are also in bad condition, too small, leakage issue, rates are taken for ac room and provide the non ac. Also having pest issues, dogs are taking our footwear. Amenities are just eyewash, there is nothing in condition to use.

Rooms were not properly maintained, geyser was not working. Person at reception was not professional.
