The nearest railway station is Neral, from where Matheran is a 20-min climb in a cab. Once inside, you’ll have to walk about 20-30mins to reach the cottage.Guests can also opt for a toy-train ride from Neral to Matheran, but it’ll take a lot of time to reach due to speed restrictions.
