    Never trust the hotel pictures or images

    I want to share my recent experience with MakeMyTrip to warn others. I booked a hotel in Delhi through their website, and the pictures shown there looked really nice and clean. But when I reached the hotel, the reality was completely different. The place was dirty and poorly maintained. There were holes in the couches, the beds were stained, and the whole room had a strong, unpleasant smell. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there, so I left my luggage for a short while and went out to look for another hotel. Once I found a better place, I returned to collect my bags and checked out immediately. I reported this issue to MakeMyTrip several times. The first time I called, they asked for photos, which I sent from my iPhone. But then no one followed up. I had to call again, and they said they couldn't access the images from my phone, so I sent them again as a PDF. Still, nothing happened. After my trip, I followed up again, and they said they were working on it and would get back to me in 24–48 hours. But later, I received a call saying they wouldn’t issue a refund because of the hotel’s response. I’m very disappointed. This clearly shows that MakeMyTrip doesn’t check the real condition of the hotels they list. The pictures on their website are outdated and misleading. Imagine someone trusting those images only to end up in such a bad place. It was a frustrating experience, and I didn’t expect this kind of service from them.

    I have booked for three person, 2 males and of course me . If its not allowed then it should be mentioned in clear words . So that there should not be any confusion in terms and conditions or policy . After my third guest came they charged for another room for no reason , the third guest is not even entered in the other room.

    had a short stay, room was clean, hygienic checkin experience wasn't that great, they make you fill forms of consent and similar entries on the register also while ordering food from zomato, they asked to collect it on our own from reception as they dont get outside food delivered at room, this was irritating.

    I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and had a terrible experience overall. The room quality was extremely poor – there was a musty smell in the room that made it hard to relax or sleep. The washroom was dirty and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before my arrival. Breakfast was inconsistent: it was decent on the first day, but on the second day, the food tasted off and was barely edible. The staff showed little concern when I raised these issues, and overall service was quite disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Definitely not worth it.
