Review Of De Foret

The property was so amazing that we extended our stay n cancelled the Neil island. The food is very delicious n the hospitality is wonderful.

good stay, great rooms, away from beach access but close to Radhanagar beach (4 KM) good pool, nice jungle feel. food good. booked room villa with bath tub, spacious rooms and good bathroom.

We spent four nights at Deforet, Havelock which is 2.5 km from Radhanagar Beach. Must say overall it was a fantastic experience. It is a very cosy property and experience across reception, restaurant & room service and house keeping is worthy of appreciation. In restaurant, we were served by Daphi, Iban and Om Prakash with lot of personal touch and fantastic food (Thanks to Chef and the team). House keeping staff Durgesh and Santa are very professional. Last but not the least reception staff irrespective of shift were proactive in providing timely assistance.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Deforet. The overall experience was excellent from start to finish. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and unwind. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and quality that exceeded expectations. What really stood out was the exceptional service — the staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, making the entire stay smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Hotel Deforet to everyone. You won’t regret it!

The property was huge and very beautiful. The rooms were spacious, however a crab did enter our room. The food was ok ok youre better off eating out

The Hotel is near Radha Nagar Beach but far from other places . Hotel room was very spacious and had good amenities. The hotel and restaurant staff are polite & courteous and the service is quick.Hotel food is very expensive and the quantity served is also very less.

The resort was on the midst of the forest and was well maintained, the staffs were very hospitable and courteous. Overall we had a memorable stay .

They charged me 20 k for an already broken TV pathetic staff They should close the property. best for all scenario.

Oh, on the first sight, the hotel, room looked good. But the moment you enter the washroom, the Beauty turned into a beast. Smelly washroom, drainage doesn’t work, stinky water in tap and bathtub. We had booked two superior rooms (the big villa ones), both had the same issues. Complained to the manager, got our rooms changed, but even their best room ( villa with Private pool), had the same issue. Took photos and videos of the same, but got a pathetic response from both the hotel as well as MMT. Please do not waste your time and money here. The management is well aware about these issues, but they won’t pay a heed. Should not be tagged as a luxury hotel. Even their receptionist had no decency to talk.

Property is awsome…enjoyed at stay. Food is good. Location is perfect only 2 km away from Radhanagar beach.

We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the beautiful natural settings and friendly service. The rooms were as in the pictures, spacious and modern. We enjoyed the daily buffet breakfast as well as the bar and restaurant. The kids loved the pool. But the stand out was the excellent service from staff. The property is inland, so budget a little extra for taxis which cost more than mainland India.

Location : 2 to 2.5 kms from radha nagar Beach. shuttle is arranged for pick and drop to jetty and also for sightseeing to be paid. we trekked to Elephant Beach from resort. only kala pathar beach is far. Food : limited menu for veg. whatever printed on menu is served good. Rooms : clean and spacious. only AC, no fans. 24hrs hot and cold water, which is a highlight. room service available.

It was a enjoyable stay at Deforet. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean. Hotel staff was very helpful. They have good options available in breakfast.

The experience in short was awful. one 2 litre bottle was charged Rs 200. The housekeeping staff didn't clean properly. The breakfast spread was below average, they repeated the same menu everyday. Our stay was of 3 days. Exorbitant price of each food item. One glass of coconut water was Rs 200 plus GST.

Nice resort, welcoming, 24 hours room service, good Chef, swimming pool, excellent food, good service at restaurant, near to Radhanagar beach. Hotel provides scooter both petrol and electric for 500/700 per day. Over all relaxing helpful staff.
