Sea Shell Port Blair

The location is great! Very close to the airport and the Cellular jail and the Port Blair town. The roof top restaurant was great and the staff were very helpful

Very good place for stay/transit, nearby all attractions and airport. Welcome ITC just 20 yards away. Neat clean place, good food. And the main attraction of this property is its roof-top bar "Amaya", awesome place, a must visit resto-bar.

One of the best hotels in Port Blair, close to the centre and has a vibrant restaurant at the rooftop during evening time. Rooftop also has great views of the bay. The staff is extremely helpful and hospitable.

The best things about this stay 1. Top-notch service from check-in to restaurant to room service to check-out 2. Closely located to major attractions such as Cellular Jail and Jetty points 3. Tasty food 4. Clean and Hygienic. What was missing was pool and gym.

The property's location is centrally located with a partial view of the sea. The food is great! There is a great restaurant on the rooftop with an amazing view. However I felt that the price of the room was a little high for the size of the room.

I wish I had booked Seashell earlier. The hotel is just 10 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the Cellular Jail, making it very centrally located. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, and the hotel had a warm, welcoming ambiance. The balcony and its view were particularly enjoyable. While the in-room dining could use improvement, the breakfast was delicious, with a buffet offering a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Perched on a hill, the property offers a lovely ocean view from the rooms, adding to the overall experience.

Place is good & clean, however the food at the restaurant was not great for the price below average vegetarian food. Cellular jail is very close by 20mins walk from the hotel.

Stay was good. Finding location was quite easy, it was just 9-10 mins away from airport which is good thing. Room dining and breakfast buffet was also good.

Neat and clean hotel, good quality food. Spa is not available at this property however mentioned on board. Presently we are at swaraj deep.

Extremely professional service & the first impression for the property is white fairy building. The arrival area is on the main road bit cramped for multiple cars arriving at same time but guess not much can be done but the staff is swift in clearing it. Highlights; - readiness with the checkin, welcome letter and wifi details - extremely soft spoken front desk staff, mayur to be precise & even while i placed the request for upgrade, she was very kind but firm that can’t do much as was sold out but the smile said, don’t worry, i will help if can (appreciated the honesty) - lunch at salt and pepper, amazing food, quick service, biryani flavors were really nice and balanced, kudos to the chef. - evening at amaya, must say, picture perfect setting for me to wrap up our holiday on a high, food excellent, service was bit slow, but they had house full (so no worries. Daiquiri made by their bartender was exquisite. Above all my server sujoy (extremely sweet, like a kid but very open to speak his mind for me not to take a table in open, as it will rain & so it did) i guess this all was possible as the man leading it subbiah (hotel manager) was leading it from the front, whether carrying the bear cartons himself in the lift, whether ushering people into restaurant, ensuring bill desk is manned, listening to guests (over demanding ones and checking their drinks to ensure they are satisfied. He literally lives the word ‘get your hands dirty’. Lastly, i believe, the room could have been better priced (for the size of the room) but guess they deliver premium experience & thus demand premium prices. (hope next time, i am lucky to find a good deal, but will stay here only for sure.

Location nearby jetty for havelock and most of tourist places and airport. Rooms are neat modern but very small. Good for a couple. Amaya lounge is good and happening place with music food and bar lounge. Service is very good and staff are friendly. Good for a night stay. Decent breakfast spread.

The hotel rooms are not very clean, i had to get the bedsheets, pillow covers and the duvet cover changed as they were smelling and not washed. The restaurent was good. Staff was also very courteous

The property is good, with nice rooms and great restaurants. What i missed is that there is no swimming pool in the property and no beach. Got a ground floor room with no view. Requested for upper storey room, bu refused.

Nice hospitality n good food. D bar lounge at top floor is really grt. Tarrif is slightly on d higher side
